"It is always a pleasure to visit paradores. Food drinks: Last night we were having dinner at the Parador de Sos del Rey Católico and we were delighted. Despite the number of diners they had, Julio, the room manager, did his best to make our stay pleasant. The service also gave us an exquisite treatment. "Lo primero el sitio es encantador, Muy agradable y tiene una terraza con unas vistas maravillosas. La segundo la persona de servicio muy atento, con ganas de explicar los platos y muy amable . Probamos las pochas con verduras, que son una delicia , las verduras a la parrilla deliciosas impecables. El asado de ternasco estaba perfectamente asado en su punto y muy sabroso . El entrecote magnífico, y un detalle de buen profesional que quiero destacar: el cuchillo para el asado era dentado, y, sin embargo, el cuchillo para el entrecote, como debe ser, era de corte liso sin dientes, porque desgarra la carne, es muy pocos sitios, lo hacen bien . De postre dátiles, con helado deliciosos también . De modo que además de comer también cenamos …jajaaaa Por la noche, algo más ligerito, el Fuá que estaba realmente espectacular y las migas muy muy buenas también todo por supuesto es casero y se nota ."

"Before booking I'd seen some unfavourable reviews of this restaurant but I often wish that Tripadvisor reviews followed the Uber model, and offered the restaurant the chance to review the customer. Our experience was great friendly and helpful staff looked after us courteously and served our food promptly. For example, I ordered a plato combinado of grilled calamari. I also ordered a goat's cheese walnut salad. (Both dishes were really well prepared/cooked with quality ingredients. The waitress pointed out that the plato combinado already includes salad so was I sure I wanted the starter? This was considerate of her. My friend went for pork loin, very well cooked and all the portions were very generous. My pudding was really excellent described as a pineapple ravioli this really intrigued me, it was a dish of very sweet custard, with condensed milk almost cloyingly sweet, but the citric bite of the pineapple, combined with coconut ice cream really worked. I've never seen this dish anywhere else I highly recommend. We also had a couple of beers and a bottle of mineral water the bill came to €50. I definitely recommend this place. My only reservation is the decor not that the visual aspect of a restaurant is *all that* important to me but it's a bit dated, black and purple wallpaper and *very* bright overhead lighting kind of kills off any chance of atmosphere. In the lobby there's a decorative 2 piece sofa (see attached but that's about it for decor. But a big thank you to Vinacua we really enjoyed our meal."
