"We visited Tynemouth for a week and the Barca became our local for the duration of our stay. We loved everything about it, the atmosphere, the deco, the staff, the locals and the range of beers, ciders and cocktails. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The locals were too. Us and our 2 dogs were made to feel more than welcome with plenty of dog treats given to our girls from staff and locals. Our only regret was that we couldn't become permanent locals! We will definitely be back next time we are in the area."

Very nice bar and gets very popular so can get a bit cramped at times! Staff are friendly and it's a general nice atmosphere in here.

Go through Tynemouth quite a bit but always seem to miss this little gem out, had a lush time and the beer was excellent. Good vibes, decor and staff, beer good too. Will be back
