"Nowadays, almost every restaurant offers vegan options, making it difficult to stand out in this category. However, Baroushka managed to do just that with their vegan mezze main course and two standout vegan desserts: a chocolate fondant and a lime cheesecake. Their creative approach to vegan options provided a memorable and delicious experience for vegans, surpassing the ordinary and reasonably priced. The reviewer also noted a frustration with Happy Cow's policy of not allowing 5-star ratings for restaurants that are not completely vegetarian, as the distinction between vegan options and fully vegetarian or vegan establishments is already clear through the available filters."

I ordered a starter as a main, the portion was small so ordered another starter and paid more for the privilege. I should have ordered a posh kebab. I can't fault the service or atmosphere. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner and had a fantastic experience. The price per person was around £40-50, but the quality of the food and service definitely justified it. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5. Some dishes that I highly recommend trying are the Mixed Grill Plate, Kebab, Hot Mezze, Grill Meat, Cold Mezze, and Grilled Meats. Overall, I had a great dining experience and would definitely go back again. Visualizza piatti

I phoned the restaurant yesterday to book a table for 2 today (Sunday 29th Oct) at 2pm. We arrived 15 mins early to an empty restaurant and was told that we 'd need to order quickly and eat quickly as the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes! I explained we had a booking for 2pm but was told we 'd have to be quick. They obviously didn 't want us there, even after having called spoken to them for the booking. We left. I had also filled in their 'contact us ' form on their website on the Friday, but got no reply. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Please don't go here hungry, very small portions indeed. In my stew I had one chicken wing and one leg both of which were bone, the cous cous was literally two teaspoon fulls so hardly worth adding to the plate. I asked for more chicken and to be fair they provided more. We ordered two starters, two main meals and two puddings plus one drink each, total cost £100 and absolutely dont feel this was value for money. The food that was provided was tasty but we both could have eaten the same again! I wouldn't re visit due to this. Service: Dine in Price per person: £50–60 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

"We stayed here ten years ago and thought it was wonderful and worth every penny. We were so excited to return, but really Disapointed. The grounds are lovely and we were pleased with our room. The children loved the outdoor space and the pool What really let us down was the food and service. There was no luxury here. The family dining choices were poor. The children's meal was bad one had fish gougons and sweet potato fries which were very salty. The other two had pizza, the small was served as half a pizza, the large was a conventional round shape. Both were shop bought bases (cardboard) with grated Cheddar on the top. Something I would not feed them at home let alone expect in a supposedly high end dining. My husband's steak was chewy. My main, whole plaice with creamed potatoes, the potato was served in a ceramic dish and it was cold. It was taken away and then took ten minutes to return by which point I had eaten the fish. The food was incredibly expensive considering how poor the offerings were. The next day we ate a very late lunch in Bath so we would not have to eat at the hotel. The breakfast buffet area had some nice items but was really understocked and allowed to run to empty. The staff functioned but not at a steady rate, we found the service slow and the staff disinterested. Such a contrast to our previous visit. The person in charge we found sullen and felt as if our presence was an inconvenience. When we walked through to the dining areas we would hop out of the staff'so way for fear of being bulldozed. When we left the receptionist was polite but did not ask if we enjoyed our stay. A week later I had an email to complete a survey and nobody got in touch despite the same feedback as given here. Very dispointing. Lovely room and surroundings but poor food and poor attitude from staff. Last year we stayed in a hotel that cost 65% less than Wooley Grange and had a much better experience."

"We had a tremendously good lunch here today-the food was quite delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful-I’d say it’s probably one of the best lunches I’ve had in quite some time….so to give you a clue we both had the pork-this sounded really lovely and we were not disappointed-pork belly, tenderloin,a faggot and a ham hock croquet with mashed potato and roasted cauliflower with a delicious jus and a slice of pickled apple( which I ate immediately with a piece of pork and when the waiter came to ask how our lunch was I asked if he could possibly get me another piece-which he did For dessert we shared the passion fruit crème brûlée which came with a passion fruit sorbet and some chocolate soil…..the focaccia we had at the start of the meal was superb and the coffee was also excellent -we do enjoy both cooking and eating-one of life’s pleasures and it’s abundantly clear the chef absolutely loves food too-a great display of cooking books from the greats sort of got me thinking it would be a good lunch…….also worth noting the drinks menu-some lovely wines, soft drinks and cocktails both alcoholic and non alcoholic. I finished off with a mocha which was hot chocolatey but not too sweet. Bradford on Avon is most definitely worth a visit and I’d say you would be foolish to miss out on a great experience if you didn’t also pop in to the bunch of grapes for some sustenance while there… Thanks for lunch and as Arnie says “ we’ll be back”….."
