"It is not the first time I top for lunch ,at this authentic Korean restaurant. Laurent, the owner, married to Korean lady, after several years in trading in Korean grocery and drinks, partnered with the Korean restaurant chain BEKSEJU, and opened , few years ago, the first restaurant in this neighborhood ,at the limit of the 13th district ( famous for its Chinatown}, and the 5th district, land of students and universities....3 native chefs are working here, to prepare all the tempting dishes exposed on the well illustrated menu…The staff is also Korean, dressed in traditional clothes. The girls have smiles as tempting as the dishes they are bringing....The decor is minimalistic, wood and stone dominants.Everything is delicious, portions are generous. Laurent and his staff will patiently give you all explanations to help you chose. The best option, when you are 3 or 4, is to order different dishes, and share all. Be careful with the spices though. if you are sensitive to hot pepper. Ask for the dishes that have moderate or one.One of my favourites is the Bulgogi, or the grilled marinated pork with vegetables and rice, and the thin galette( pancake style) stuffed with seafood, All lunch menu sets (13-15 eur ) come with a nicely presented assortment of 3 starters,To go with all this variety of exotic tastes, try the BekSeJu ( you may live hundred years, as per the Baekseju legend. But obviously one bottle would not be enough to guarantee you eternity ). There is also a large choice of traditional fermented rice drinks ( different from the japanese Sake ), and beers. You may not live 100 years, but you may drench your thirst. If you are visiting the Jardin des Plantes, or the Mosquée de Paris, or having to do at The Gare d'Austerlitz, think of this unique Korean table ), be sure to try this"

Friendly service , interesting rice wine and Korean plate choices. Best to sit away from the kitchen area (ie towards the front of the restaurant) as the ventilation is just adequate. Assume 25-30 Euros per person including drinks.

This restaurant is summarizes a perfect food experience. I have been there on several occasions with different groups of friends. We have never been disappointed. The service is perfect, and the food is out of this world. My favorites are the Bugolgi Jeongshik and the courgette pie.

I tested this restaurant by accident, because I was just leaving the screening of the last Hong Sang-Soo film and I wanted to stay in the mood for Korean. The food is very good, very fresh, both exotic and comfortable from a French point of view (and taste). The girls of the service team are very caring and efficient persons.Worth a try

We visited this restaurant few times in July 2016 and loved the food and the atmosphere. There is no menu in english but waitress was very helpful and the service is friendly. As vegetarians, the choises in menu seemed a bit limited but it didn't matter as they were willing to adjust many dishes to vegetarian version and everything that we had was just excellent.

After being in Europe for 2 weeks, we were craving home cooked Asian food. The resto is quaint and the waitress was very kind and helpful. We ordered the lunch menu of bimbimbap and japchae. It was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The kimchi and starters were well seasoned. All homemade items which were not overly spicy, salty or sweet. Wish I wasn't leaving Paris just yet.

We have visited this restaurant a few times and we like the food. It is always well presented and delicious. We often order the seafood galette, grillades de porc & bibimpap. Service is okay (often limited French and/or English) from the waitresses, although the owner speaks fab English (like a Singaporean).Korean beer is unexciting, as is the Korean tea. Worth visiting... approximately €30 per head.

Our knowledge and experience of Korean food is limited so this was interesting. It was quite busy but the waitress explained the choices and suggested we might want to avoid some of the more spicy choices. Two of us thoroughly enjoyed what we had selected, the other not so much but this was just down to bad choice - always a risk when you don't really know what you are ordering. However, it was well presented and tasty. Consequently, we would go back again and hope our choices were more ton our taste. It was, however, moderately expensive.

Simply fantastic. Loved my pintetok! Beef was delicious, the place is welcoming and well managed. Once you are in, you feel a bit like being in the native country. Dinner. We shared the Korean combo of 3 dishes, and each one had a different taste. Kimchi and bibimbap were amazing: tasty, spicy, freshly cooked and nicely presented. A must drink: their rice wine, the Bekseju, a mixed infusion of sweet and bitterish, with a hit of ginger-ginseng. Prices normal reasonable/food quality is valued, honestly worth it if Korean experience is your thing, as we also spotted locals dining inside. Best choice in this Parisian area.

We had a birthday party here. The service, mood, cuisine, and all were exceptionally great. We were super hungry and ordered so many things at once. But all of them came nicely without any serious lagging in service. We had fried chicken with soy sauce. It was super delicious. The spicy pig's feet was really good. It has some meat (gelatin and collagen mostly which is super good for skin care). And haemulpajeon. Some of them ordered japchae and bulgogi. The presentation of cuisine was very interesting and pretty. We also had ice cream. It is home-made and one specialty is black-sesame ice cream. The color is grey but the taste is really good you cannot taste elsewhere. This restaurant is very busy. So...
