I love this place from first time!!! Very tasty coffee and amazing pastry , food. I always spend time in there with pleasure.

a fantastic coffee shop in stockbridge. the cakes here are amazing! the decor is cool, but cozy, the staff is friendly. they offer hearty breakfast and tea not only cake and coffee.

Delicious! Amazing! Best food in Edinburgh and best Meringues I have ever had! The staff is wonderful, the cakes are to die for, and the lunches will fill you up without breaking your bank! Love this place!

Really lovely little cafe. High quality food and great atmosphere. You get quite a lot for your money which is great! The place itself is quite small so getting a seat might be a little difficult depending on when you go.

if I have the choice, I prefer to do it in the rule of small, family-run companies, as I hope they are the real foods and provide the best care for their customers. Of course, I need to trust online reviews if I have no direct knowledge. this time it didn't work.

love this place so many words can not describe it we came twice in our short vacation. the jug tastes roasted, the hot chocolate is delicious and it is hard to choose from all bakery and sweets that looks exquisite. also the price is reasonable! regular hot chocolate, carrot cake, jaffa cake (deformed) and latte macchiato, 12.5£

we visited when we raised the cake in the window. we were not disappointed as there was a great selection of beautiful homemade cakes and good tee and coffee. service was fast and cheerful. overall it was a much better experience than to go to dieucks next door! can not wait to go back to try the hearty menu! They can also take away cake!

This place has the most amazing food you can experience in Edinburgh. The cakes and food are made by hand and from scratch by Allison I hope I have spelled this properly. As a baker myself I dont give high quality critic unless I know its deserved and this place deserves all of it a must visit whether your from Edinburgh or not. Well done Allison and her team.

My husband and I, visiting Edinburgh from Texas, stopped by this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon after exploring the market. We shared the amazing steak and Ale Pie, it was the best we've ever had! We loved it so much that we came back the following Sunday for more. On Tuesday, we treated ourselves to hot chocolate with cream and mini marshmallows, as well as a slice of Guinness chocolate cake. It was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend trying the Bob's molasses cake too. We thoroughly enjoyed our visits to Stockbridge Kitchen.
