"Great unexpected discovery in Ruhpolding... a rather unusual environment next to a swimming pool center, but not being abandoned by this! The waiters and waiters were very helpful and attentive and the food was some of the best we ate while in Bavaria!...so good that... we went back a second time! The first visit I had on the day was a Bavarian dish with mushrooms in engraving and bread dumplings and my husband had the turkey escalope with vegetables. During the second visit I had the goulash soup and my husband had the turkey curry, all dishes were really well cooked and had good portions dignity this restaurant recommended to anyone who visited ruhpolding much better than many of the tourist restaurants in ruhpolding!"

"Personal sehr freundlich, waren einen Tag vorher da um spontan zu essen, leider war alles belegt, der Wirt wollte und konnte uns nicht dazwischen nehmen, da es die Corona Vorschrift nicht erlaubt. Verständlich, da bei Zuwiderhandlungen bis zu 25.000€ Strafe verhängt werden. Haben dann für den nächsten Tag reserviert, hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Essen, sprich Steaks top Qualität und auf den Punkt gegrillt. Burger ebenfalls top Qualität und geschmacklich alles sehr gut. Bedingungslos weiter zu empfehlen. Hier kann man gerne wiederkommen. Und falls sich Leute beschweren, die vor Öffnungszeiten kommen und dann eingeschnappt sind weil sie weg geschickt werden, Danke dafür, wir kommen auch aus der Gastronomie, solche ...... brauchen wir nicht. Großes Lob an die Küche und den netten Service. Preis-Leistung auf den ersten Blick teuer, wenn man aber die Qualität sieht, gerechtfertigt. Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind, kommen wir gerne wieder."

"Delicious, freshly prepared dishes from a clear but well selected and inexpensive menu. Friendly, fast, courteous and careful operation and an ambience at the foot of the Rauschberg, which cannot be better on a warm summer evening. And, rather unusual for German cuisine: for every adult to charge a schnapps on the house. Just great!!"

"On a rainy day, our friends recommended a restaurant- Butzn Wirt. It is located a few miles from Ruhpolding, in the "Bavarian Alps"! The drive was beautiful and a very winding narrow road up the mountain! The site was just fantastic, it is indeed a restaurant with a view! We had to have our meals served indoors, as the rain/showers on and off.We had the 'Liver dumpling soup" and the "Spargel" soup, and for the main course- the "Wienersnitzel" and Roast pork with potato and salads. We had the house wine and beer. It was simply delicious and so tasty! Coffee and dessert was also delicious. The service was excellent, the wait staff was very welcoming and efficient. All around this restaurant is a little meadow with brown cows, the cow bells can be heard. The walks near the restaurant was just breathtaking. Highly recommended."

"we were scratched up two days after the new opening to the brandleralm for dinner. the lookout is really nice, but from eating and service we were very disappointed. at the bottom of the road was advertised with every amount of good Bavarian recipes, e.g. Spanferkel rollerbows, when we arrived at the top we got a strongly diluted card in the hand pressed, with the note that three of the main dishes are already out. from the spicy rest selection we chose obatzda and leberkäse, truly nothing that a kitchen should need for long. After we had still got nothing after an hour, I asked, then the food was ordered again in the kitchen (although the service had run past us some paints.) after a good 75 min, then the food came, after a further reminder 5 min later the cutlery and after 10 min and again ask finally the also ordered supplement salad. the food was then more normal average, which one expects also from leberkäse with spiegelei. we were offered an espresso or obstler as compensation, but that's not what the annoying one has torn out. new opening or back, but it's not like that!"
