My wife and I, plus our 2 little boys stayed here on the Pennine Way. Catherine made us most welcome and even collected us from Leadgate 3 miles away ! The place is lovely and extremely clean and friendly. The breakfast was marvellous, and we will return sometime in the future. A great place to stay in Northumberland. Fully recommended. Thank you ! My wife, our two young boys, and I recently stayed here while walking the Pennine Way. Catherine was very welcoming and even picked us up from Leadgate, which is three miles away! The accommodation was lovely, impeccably clean, and had a friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was fantastic, and we definitely plan to return in the future. This is an excellent place to stay in Northumberland. Highly recommended. Thank you!

We are staying here for a few nights, but I felt compelled to take a moment to share how incredible the fish and chips are! There will be more details to come, but the chips are just like you would expect from a great fish and chip shop—full of flavor. However, the fish deserves a special mention. Great, great place. We arrived for an overnight stay, despite being during COVID and the hotel technically being closed a room was put together for us... The hotel is fab! Nice rooms, absolutely spotlessly and surprisingly super comfy beds. The bar is lovely, and the conservatory and beer garden are some of the nicest I've been too, really if its sunny this is an amazing beer garden. Would absolutely recommend. A big thanks to Alex for being one of the best hosts we've had.

Absolutely fantastic place! We stayed overnight, and even though it was during COVID and the hotel was technically closed, they arranged a room for us. The hotel itself is wonderful—great rooms that are spotless and surprisingly comfortable beds. The bar is lovely, and the conservatory and beer garden are among the nicest I've experienced; if it's sunny, the beer garden is truly amazing. I would highly recommend this place. I stayed here with a group of friends when we did the coast to coast cycle ride raising money for charity.We stayed at a total of 3 hotels along our route and this was by far the best hotel that we stayed at during our ride. The rooms were refurbished to a very good standard and the showers were amazing.The staff were very accomodating and flexible. We had an early start ahead of the hotel's breakfast start timings. We asked if they could give our group an early breakfast to which they obliged.As good as the hotel was from a comfort perspective the staff were amazing, friendly, very welcoming. Visualizza piatti
