beautiful relaxed atmosphere, service friendly, eat the price worth the one they pay. when I cooked myself, we had no problems with our eating and compliments to her kitchen team. only on the bottom were steak knives sharper. will be back and would recommend this facility for family and friends.

Lovely pub restaurant, country pub, food delicious, reasonable cost, staff friendly and helpful. Decor of pub is lovely and lots of flowers, hanging baskets outside too. Plenty of parking. We were a family party of 7, food arrived all hot and fresh, everyone enjoyed their food. We will definately be visiting again. Glad we found it, would recommend. We have paid 2 more visits as a couple, every bit as good as the first.

Not been for a little while, very happy we calledin again. Fish Friday is a bargain, 2 fish, chips and mushy peas, with a glass of wine or a j2o, £20. It was really nice and a good size portion, the wine was OK and you could have red, white or rose. This place still has the guest beers on as well, so no problem if you are like me and enjoy a pint. Booked a table 13.00hr 12/02/22 my mother I were welcomed by warm friendly staff, shown to our table where we made ourselves comfortable. We were then handed the menu. We ordered drinks then our lunch soon our meal came very well presented by the front of house staff who were very helpful pleasant. We both really enjoyed our meal at a very reasonable price I've paid a lot more for a meal elsewhere like M C would highly recommend The Black Lake Inn

very nice venue that has so much more than can ve seen from the road, excellent menu although limited, the food was excellent and i have no complaints whatsoever. The staff I must say have been the friendliest and most attentive I have met I a long long time so the management need to be congratulate them and be congratulated themselves. large car park but beware the venue appears very quickly on a fast road to take care on approach. wohld highly recommend the hammock and mustard starter.

first, but not last visit we came to our high season meal and were not disappointed, the food was perfectly cooked and presented and of good portion size. the staff was welcome at the arrival with only 10 minutes waiting time as we arrived for our booking early, the staff were helpful and well presented, the tables deleted as soon as the guests stayed very efficient at each level. the entire atmosphere was relaxing and made our night an unforgettable . visit them if they are not finished yet. I especially like the homemade cakes, delicious I do not order shop and takes a afternoon to make a home so without the hassle is a tasty as a Sunday roast well. We are frequent visitors to the Black lake but visited tonight for our sons 21st birthday. Staff were as always very pleasant and attentive even though they were busy.Especially the young lady that served our table who is a credit to you. They all wished my son a Happy Birthday. Food as always was lovely and a slight oversight was rectified quickly with no fuss. They were very accommodating earlier in the day when I arrived arms full with birthday cake and balloons, and the table was set and decorated before our arrival. First time visiting. Table booked for 5.30pm on a Sunday, we were sat down promptly and drinks and food orders taken pretty quickly. That's where the service kind of stopped for a while. Food arrived almost an hour after ordering, we asked for another round of drinks as the food came, we didn't have chance to ask anyone whilst waiting for food as the staff literally never stopped for a second.
