"Location Nördlingen an der Romantic Straße is surrounded by Germany's only accessible city wall. From Daniel, the tower of the St George Church, there is a wonderful view over the medieval city and the Ries, which was built about 15 million years ago by the impact of a meteorite. The card is not very large and also the selection, but everyone finds something for their taste. We chose the homemade muzzles with ham cream sauce (10.90 € and the Cordon Bleu (220 gr with potato salad (12.50 €). The mouthbags were really nice big dough bags with a minced meat spinat filling. However, the cream sauce was too violent and overlaid everything. But that was my fault, there are also the mules more neutral. The Cordon Bleu was gigantic. Nicely panned and baked in the pan lay the still juicy part on the plate. The huge portion of shattery potato salad was hard to handle, but so good that it had to leave. With thick bellies, we made our way home for a later hour. Conclusion: Small secret tip in Nörtlingen. Homemade, huge portions."

Nördlingener Secret Tip : super (some hidden) beer garden, also inside nice to sit, super kitchen with local specialties and occasional extras. My favourite: the salads (but not the vegetarian, although the tasty), e.g. Shanghai, rich with spits and mini-frying roll and delicious herbal baguette.

The facility is rustic and very cozy, you also have the possibility to sit outside. A little off the pedestrian zone, it is quieter here and many villagers seem to be regular customers here.
