"On Saturday my wife and I went to the Chiefs game and had a meal at the Blue Ball before. From start to finish we were met with friendly, helpful staff, from a warm greeting in the car park to cheery, helpful bar staff to attentive waiting staff everyone clearly very efficient and seemingly very happy in their work all making for a most enjoyable customer experience. And then there is the food....! How they produce such delicious, well presented food for so many so quickly is amazing! Thanks again to all the staff for Saturday it was great!"

Definitely the best pub in Exeter! We always have such a lovely welcome from the friendly staff and our dog is spoilt rotten! Great food and a lovely atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

Very nice garden and good food. It was busy on a Friday night and we were correctly warned that the food would take a while which it did. Was very good when it came though. A nicely tucked away spot

Stayed overnight on our way down to the coast for the weekend. Room was lovely. Staff could not have been more helpful and the breakfast was delicious! Definitely would stay again. Highly recommend. Visualizza piatti

To be honest, I was a bit disappointed with the restaurant. The drinks were expensive, the service was so-so, and the food was uninspiring. But I'm optimistic that things can get better. A smile doesn't cost anything.

WOW WOW WOW! I can’t sing the praises of everyone at the blue ball. All the staff are great, friendly, helpful, welcoming and absolutely amazing. The food is fantastic, and great value for money. Special thanks to Natalie, you are so ****** awesome

Last night we decided to dine at this restaurant on short notice. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were fantastic. The outdoor seating area was covered and had heaters available if needed. We would definitely return again. Visualizza piatti

This pub/restaurant is a hidden gem, located just a 5-minute walk from the Courtyard by Marriott at Sandy Park. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent - every dish we saw looked fantastic! They also have a great kids menu. We can't wait to come back next time we are in Devon.

We booked the Blue Ball for Sunday lunch after our daughters christening and had a wonderful time. The staff were extremely organised and the service was spot on. They kindly took some photos of us as well at the end of the lunch. The food was delicious. Really positive feedback on the roasts, mac cheese and my pan fried salmon was very tasty. Generous portion sizes. Overall would highly recommend for big family get-togethers as well as smaller lunches.
