Went for Festive Afternoon tea the weekend before Christmas. They had live music playing. Plentiful refills on all drinks, hot and cold. Beautifully presented fingers sandwiches, cakes and scones. A lovely afternoon. Service: 5

Absolutely fabulous! The room, the food, the staff, the beautiful location just EVERYTHING was brilliant and I absolutely loved my one night stay for a business event. I couldn’t fault anything and I’m fussy! It’s obviously very well managed and I will be back for leisure purposes to try out the spa. Thank you. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

I’m reviewing the golf course, for other poor unsuspecting souls who love the game but are poor at. Also reviewing the service and food afterwards, both which was great. So for fellow below average golfers, what a beautiful but demanding course, I scored 15 using a 36 handicap with most of my points on the front 9, I bailed on 12. The food afterwards equally as nice. Pricy venue, poor service and dated decor don't help what could be a fantastic venue with a bit of love and customer care. Nearby activities: Golf course is long and the rough impossible, we lost countless balls in the rough, it is far too punishing and should be maintained to make it possible to not only fund balls but also to enable you to play from what are currently impossible lies. Suggest avoiding until the rough has benn mothballed.

Absolutely lovely. Booked in very very last minute (day of, 14th Dec) for afternoon tea and the lady I spoke to on reception over the phone in the morning was incredibly friendly. Really didn’t have high hopes for such a short notice booking but she found the time for us. Then, when we got there the place was gorgeously decorated and felt so cosy, with a nice view out to the golf course. The afternoon tea itself was delicious, with a festive twist. Every person we spoke to couldn’t do enough for us, and were all so friendly and professional. Highly recommend for a lovely experience, I think I’m going to come back for the spa and/or golf!

Hotel: Absolutely incredible. The rooms were immaculate and clean and tidy. The staff could not be more attentive to our needs either. There was robes and slippers in the room for use in the spa. A big walk in shower and separate bath also. Wardrobe with hangers for use as well. There was a kettle and nespresso coffee machine with pods in the room and fresh milk and water in the fridge. There was also a powerful hair dryer in the room which is very uncommon. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had the courtyard view room on the 1st floor which overlooked the entrance to the hotel and part of the golf course.
