If you want good food, but filthy looks and judgemental staff... eat here! disgraceful behaviour, awful awful place

I stayed at the hotel for a night and decided not to dine at the restaurant. I found the food to be expensive and not worth the price. Next time, I think I will opt to stroll over to a nearby pub for a meal.

I arrived for my two-night business trip and decided to have dinner at the restaurant "Brasserie". The menu looked great, but unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. The staff seemed untrained and were not very helpful.

I have been there only two nights,but for that short stay I can say as the staff have friendly attitude, the food in the restaurant was very tasty and the restaurant manager was helpful when I had an issue with order the meal. I can recommend this hotel for all :

The food was quite good but the restaurant itself is quite soulless. The manager and senior staff were very helpful and pleasant, however some of the waiting staff have a couldn't care less attitude. There is a lack of alternative dining in the area so this should be so much better.

We had our dinner here on Saturday which we was well impressed by. For starters we had whitebait, although we hate fish that still has they're head on, we managed to get through it and still enjoy our starters. For mains i had fish and chips and my missus has the lamb shank. both very nice and very good quality. Overall it is a fantastic restaurant which is let down by the rest of the hotel.

I found a great deal on their website and stayed for 2 nights on this trip. The reception area was very nice and modern, with friendly staff. The room was a bit outdated but clean. The food in the bar was delicious, especially the juicy and perfectly cooked steak, though it was priced as expected for a city like London. Breakfast was also very good, with a wide selection on the menu. I will definitely return with my family, as the Harry Potter experience is just 15 minutes away.

Staff was rude. Our meal was part of a Harry Potter deal. We had two course menu to choose from. Two out of three starters weren't in available,which is fair enough as they let us know as soon as they passed us the menu. But when the server was explaining about how the deal was working,she failed to mention that we had to pay extra for stakes. She only did that when we were ordering our food,which is very unprofessional. Then I ordered a mushroom risotto,which when arrived at the table had no traces of mushrooms in it! Met up with friends here and decided to try for the first time, unfortunately it will be the last time... Firstly 24.00 for a 6.00 bottle of wine is a complete rip off and totally over priced. Only one of us had a starter and the waitress took it before it was finished! None of us are our mains the lamb stew was positively awful and dumplings were not cooked through at all and pure white I showed a waitress but she just looked blank. None of us had dessert we just wanted to get to McDonald's and eat something! The macciato coffee was like a double espresso, horrible, and in a tiny cup for which 3.50 was charged.
