"Booked for a treat for Valentines day for my husband and I(ate the day before) and it was a valentines special set menu. We didn't realise this before our booking and was a little disappointed initially as we have eaten here before and had our menu planned in our heads but the food we ordered off the set menu was fantastic, beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The ambiance was lovely and service second to none. Would recommend to anyone."

A really nice place to eat. The staff are very good as is the food. Will always think of the Brasserie first when we are dining in Halifax.

However had to wait a while for the main course to come, and the restaurant was not really busy but I guess thats because they were cooking a steak for us. Staff very friendly and polite

we have eaten here on several occasions and every time we have had a fantastic experience. The fillet steak is so succulent it is unbelievable and the ambiance is just right for a romantic meal or a family occasion equally.

We were in Halifax for a gig at the Victoria and would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a meal which is well-cooked, interesting and good value. We had excellent service from our waitress (Jessi and the host. Very good.

We have been to the brasserie at the Bull on several occasions and eaten both in the restaurant and in the bar area. Both menus have plenty of choice. We visited this time for my husbands birthday (my husband, year old son and myself) and we all had the fillet steak which was amazing. The surroundings are pleasant, the staff friendly and the service is very good.

We've visited the Brasserie on many occasions and its always been our favourite restaurant. We haven't been for a while but unfortunately we wasn't too keen on the change of menu personally struggled to find something to order for our main course. In the end I chose Pizza which wasn't really what I wanted as I don't see this as a treat. My husband only really fancied steak which at without any sides was quite expensive.
