We came for high tea and were disappointed. The sandwiches were good, but the sweets didn't taste as good as they looked. Also, the scones were sadly very tough. How disappointing!

Wonderful ambience, great meal, excellent service. I had the pappardelle pasta with beef ragu sauce and my husband had the chicken schnitzel. Both absolutely delicious. A nice island of calm in busy Covent Garden. Highly recommend!!

We did not stay at the hotel but had an afternoon tea here. Excellent, lovely surroundings, helpful and friendly staff, delicious food. I would highly recommend an afternoon tea here. I had looked at various places before booking here and I liked this one for their selection of sandwiches and cakes.

Excellent London lunch service! We had the pumpkin and blue cheese bruschetta, whipped beetroot, caesar salad, and fish and chips. I Live in NYC and often dine at the Croby Bar (other Firmdale Hotel property). I was pleasantly surprised at the consistency of food/service/hospitality. We will return again!

Beautiful restaurant. We were seating outside having a lovely Tamaran white wine. Flavio our waiter was as always very amicable and professional. Always has a smile. We went inside the restaurant and ordered Pappardelle, Fish Chips. Both delicious. Excellent service by Krystian and Patricia. Highly recommended.

A lovely place in the centre of Covent Garden, very convenient to various shops and theatres, (near Matilda). We sat outside and people watched. We ordered cocktails, Chardonnay and Rathfinny sparkling wine. We also had scampi, fries and olives. The scampi was a little dry, however the fries and olives were delicious. The waiter Flavio is exemplary. He was friendly, attentive, professional and charming. I would recommend this spot and will return for sure.

The Covent Garden Hotel has regular themed evenings. A friend and I attended the recent Greek evening. The food was superb (possibly TOO REFINED for Greek food as were the complementary wines. The staff, chef, wine guide and the events manager were great. We shared a table with strangers and became friends over the excellent cuisine, the beautiful decor and the convivial environment. We shall be back for more themed evenings, Thank you to all who planned a memorable event.

We love Firmdale Hotels. Such amazing design, and leaders who own their business. Todays lunch, was less than expected, from the food perspective, but the team running the business. Julie was our server, who did a professional job. However the food was a miss. I shared our experience with Reston, who immediately owned the issue, took care of our concerns, and engaged us with his extensive knowledge of food and beverage. “You have to try a new English sparkling wine”, Rathfinny he said. It was super. We left wanting to return. Thank you Firmdale Hotels for developing such talent.

What a find, what a restaurant, treated like you were in The Ritz. Outstanding lunch treat served by the most attentive staff I've ever experienced , the food arrived hot, well presented, drinks poured delicately into your glass, absolutely no problem with any request you made. Price wise, upper bracket lunch cost, but well worth every penny. Whilst we waited between courses, I googled the cost of a one night stay.. now, that was a bonkers Price, do not know who can afford to stay there. Our waitress confirmed hotel is usually full.. Will certainly return and noticed afternoon tea was being served as we left. Looked very good, maybe next time.
