This pub is usually overcrowded so I recommend to book in advance. If offers the local cuisine which is very valid for the money you pay.

Enjoyable evening meal with the family. Food tasty and good size portions. Friendly staff, option of English menu for non German speaking staff which is always a winner!

I visited this place to take local beer, with pork knuckle. The beer was fine, the knockle was perfect, but I had to fight and wait if I wanted to order anything. This ruined my hole dinner.

Visited on a busy night, there was no room in the restaurant so we had to sit outside in the rain on the front deck. Hard to get service. Once we get our food (schnitzel and a tasty hamburger), we were pleased. This was our...last meal before leaving after a nine-day tour of Germany and Austria. It was a nice way to end our trip.

eating was very good. a lot of choice and variety. the personal was very friendly and most spoken English. they are also a brewery. we were also in there beautiful hotel so we can experience wonderful breakfast there too. something I've never seen before, they had a honeycomb weapon that they could scrape off at the breakfast for fresh honey. it was amazing. I deliberately sought out this restaurant for some real German food; too many hotel restaurants are trying to go upscale and leave that good old fashion cooking behind. I ordered Schnitzel Wiener Art, which is a crispy, thin pork schnitzel with home fried potatoes. I...added a Kleiner Beilagen salad to complete the meal and washed down with a half liter of helles or the light Pilsner style beer from the sponsoring brewery. Was even treated to some local color of a workingman having his beer and meal while wearing traditional lederhosen. This restaurant is the real deal but the beer garden was unfortunately closed by rain.
