"The Kartkasse wanted to be relieved again. Say, four standing men are going to eat. Usually we eat three courses. More than one we did not come to our visit. The table was ordered at 8:00. We enter the local for the first time to third and the noise as well as the humid air robs hearing and breath. Short acclimatization and it goes back. With the air, the volume level remains uncannyly high. In addition to the entrance (one step it is necessary to overcome we will receive. No good evening, no hello. Of course we have what was good, because the store was full of rags. We are guided to our table, which lies half a floor deeper and originated from a vault cellar. Here it is even louder to sit on the neighboring board well 15 people who are looking to overflow in the volume. A phenomenon that does not only occur here. One speaks loud, the next louder. Until it almost escalates. There's a map on the table. We know that the brewery in Coburg has been calling its own mini brewery for some time. So what's more than we order one of these beers? A soft beer for the driver (0.5 liters to €2.90, two Veste Trunk, which are brewed according to the map. And so far the experience values are missing, even hearing failure fails, we have no information. Bavaria, Franken in particular, is known for good beers, what should run wrong. With the food we are still waiting for the fourth colleague to be prevented and to come. Drinks reach the table. The moving colleague has received a product from a large brewery, he is satisfied. The only one at the table. Why? We have brewed beer ourselves and have at least rudimentary experiences, and we also come around a lot wherever it goes, a house brew is tried. Usually these are more or less good, drinkable everything. I'll take a sip, I'll gather everything together. The first thought: ****, the beer is overturned! . A look to the colleague who also wanted to try this beer shows that he also has the same thought. Sturking, acidic taste, such as a mixture of isopropanol and oxidized apple juice. So extremely far from tasty or even tasting. Yeah, it tastes, but it's spoiled. One more sip and I refuse to drink this beer. Service power is over, we're trying to complain. It must taste so good. Ask the neighboring table, they said something. And that in a noble, very bare sound. Honestly, if the customer says that the beer is bad, so in the sense of spoiled, then I can't refer to the neighboring table, which probably also complained and now cleanses the stuff. And we've already reached you. As a rule, I am not an unconditional advocate of you, but please, the address was devalued, with a energized sound. Then another sentence followed, which made me stand up: I can tip you down Limo, you have to pay it anyway. Doesn't the reader think? I have two witnesses who could hardly trust their ears. Well, what do you do? Suck the ****? I have decided to grab the pilars, take the path to the toilet and move the spoon over my body into the sewer. Disgusting. In short, I want this brew to cost €3.10 at 0.5 liters. A very proud price for our region, which I can only accept when the beer tastes and doesn't remember a slice of vinegar. The second colleague was able to force at least half of the beer down, I let myself to the saying Hopefully did not go through it (diarrrhea was meant! Later I should see that I wasn't so wrong. The service has been able to observe that I had disposed of my beer, after all she took off the table next door and came to meet me on the way back from the toilet with the empty glass in my hand. No cometal for her part, I want to tell her that she just didn't register. Colleague four still had to wait, about half nine in about 20:30 h the operation came back to our table. In the words, you can still wait, but if you want to eat something, you have to order now. The kitchen closes at 9 a.m. (21 p.m.) So we ordered 1 x booze to 13,80 € 1 x carving Viennese type with potato salad to 11,80 € 1 x porkshaxn to 12,90 € I no longer liked any more beer and ordered a large mineral water. Question: Still, medium, splashy? . I like and exclusively spattery, hate medium and refuse still. So maximum medium. Or from the spicy bottle and someone has forgotten to close it. So, after we have been treated from above, I would recommend the gastronomic to keep the Mineral Water Regulation in mind and see how MINERALWASSER has to reach the customer. My promise: Should I ever have to go to this restaurant(! I'll order mineral water again. If it is not in the original vessel, it goes back. If it comes to my place in this one, it's already open. Should this be half dead again, it goes back. I was on my way with friends, that's why I was holding back. This will no longer happen. Shortly afterwards, Karter came to us. His first words: The self-breaded beer here is not so great. We confirmed that he was. He also ordered a non-alcoholic beer for himself, the second colleague with the beer mistested a cellar beer and another beer for the new one. At least later we reached the drunkard. Quite large portions, even inside, unfortunately little spicing has reached inside, but the taste was good. Very little sauce, which fits well to the booze, with two Coburger sliders, i.e. potato dumps, which make any tension miss, slip onto the plate and also into the stomach. I don't prefer these, but they were announced on the map, so that was fine. And a bowl of sour wort. Just as lukewarm as the brunette and the haxes. The colleague with the Haxe was also satisfied, only the colleague with the carvings remained. The ones with the stains. He didn't care, I don't like black spots at the Schnitzel. He didn't care, but the potato salad just went back to the kitchen. This did not taste our merciful colleague. He was still satt. Colleague four was in this place this week, had forgotten to warn us about this house brew. And to pass on the circumstance that one of the operators gave to the best during his visit: We always brew differently and try around! Seriously? 3.10 Euro for a beer and the customer must play the test rabbit? Isn't that a little cheeky? Mr. Two and I were sure that we would have produced such a beer, not to be ashamed, let alone sold. Or at least not at this price, but requires a compulsory price. My conclusion: Pleite all over the line, the house-breaded beer at least for us and on our day of visit not drinkable. The food in the whole is okay, but no bright light. In the future we will make a wide arc around the restaurant."

Down to earth Bavarian food come hungry, as plates are filled to abundance. This is most probably one of the most northern locations of Bavaria.

We have eaten here on many occasions my husband loves the pork knuckle! Although they say that they take credit cards be sure to have euros on hand. Their credit card machine (both portable and one at the counter) was unable to read multiple...cards that we tried to use.

We wanted to find somewhere in Coburg to eat Schäufele and found this place and weren't disappointed. The food was good, classic Frankisch, in a charming old room with vaulted ceilings. The service was excellent and the prices really fair under 50 Euro...including entrees and drinks for the two of us. Worth a visit.

Thai Jaa

Thai Jaa

"At that time it was said: A new Thai is coming to the Burger Brewery! Pffff.... Well, again one who wants to make one on authentic with Glutamat and as a Chinese makes on light Asian cuisine. Like that, the curiosity always prevails. Especially when it comes to food. Location: on a main road, there is also a bike path in front of the house. Parking? Nuja, you can... Behind the snack there is a parking possibility. To quickly pick up enough, unfortunately too little for a local. But, that's also not the destiny of Thai Jaa. Unfortunately, there are only a few steps to go. However, if you are unable to dispense with food with a walking disability or in a wheelchair, you can notice the side to the small dining garden. This is where the window is helped. There are no toilets, because snacks! Despite the few seats in the restaurant. These have recently been extended by a table so that about 10 seats in the local area and about 20 are available in front of the local (under a mobile tent roof). The map has 30 different basic dishes to offer. Each with an individual taste, in addition, can be chosen among three meat types that bring the price to 5,90 € per serving: pig, chicken, beef. two other varieties; Yarn and goose cost two euros. Fair prices given the portions that come to the customer. Well, I've never been to Thailand before, but if a Thai woman offers food as authentic and cooks with love and fresh. What do I want? The food is always freshly prepared, in front of the customer's eyes, with fresh ingredients. I don't know how many times I've been to Thai Jaa, whether it's for pick-up or to take a snack there quickly, I didn't even catch a meal that doesn't taste me. And also my many companions, whom I took, never came over the lips. Amendments will be made without any discussion. However, what is also due to the fact that no finished mixtures are intertwined. I have the full score. Call, pick up, let them convince."

Restaurant Mediterran

Restaurant Mediterran

Weichengereuth 50, 96450, Coburg, Bavaria, Germany

"One of Coburg's most prominent places: The Mediterranean. Most of the coburgers are still a term today as an old shelter house with a moving history to murder and death. Located on the southern gate of Coburgs, the huge terrace directly at the lake, a large parking space in front of the door, barrier-free from the car to the car. An almost ideal gastronomy. At RK times I visited this restaurant for the first time under the current leadership. At that time the steaks were a small Fiasko, so months ago it was time to finally make a visit again. With dear friends we spent an evening at great Bruschetta (4,90 € and perfect pizza from the stone oven (about 10 € each). After my companion and I currently limit the supply of carbohydrates, it should be salads this time. We had: Salat Pollo 11,50 € Salat Mediterran 13,90 € Table water 0.4 liter 2,80 € Radler 0.4 liter 2,60 € Reserved was at 7 a.m. for 10 people, whereupon the large regular table was assigned to us at the entrance. Protected, round and thus agreed for rounds. If you like to scream at a diameter of 2.50 m... A word for service. Yeah, he's here, yes, there's enough strength on site. No, this does not guarantee a constant delay. As has been seen years ago during my first visit, the operators seem to have no fixed area. So what in our case means: Sit long and then wave to be noticed. If you're in focus, you're hitting! Three(! Operators asked me in a short sequence for my drink request. Which also needed a decent piece of time to be fulfilled. This should go all night. Either it wasn't a service on site or just in the pack. Perhaps one should think about the division to ensure a uniform service flow. We have already mentioned that the Bruschetta are a dream, although they are unfortunately falling out for us at the moment. To the salads. Fresh. Nice. Thanks for not being used by Eisbergsalat. Seasonal salad varieties, parmesan planks, pine kernels, tomato carvings, cucumber slices. The whole with lemons Balsamico olive oil dressing served, with freshly roasted turkey breast. Excellent! The enclosed white bread slices, which are briefly roasted with good oil and much chopped garlic, round off the image. The Salat Mediterran was built in rough shapes, but instead the turkey was covered with salmon, zander and scampi. I was allowed to taste and was convinced of this salad as well as of mine. Prices for salads are high. But this is relativized by the quality of what is served. The price/performance structure fits, the environment is very pleasant, next time I take a mineral water instead of the table water, then I am completely satisfied. To the toilets. Not the latest, but given the crowds of people who use them every day, they are very clean. The style of the house (rebuilt and renovated by the Kamleiter family in the 70s has not changed in recent years. Massive materials from the beam to the huge tile stove, these were not concealed even during the last owner change, it was gently lifted into the present time. Conclusion: Go, enjoy, but do not forget the big wallet."

Dionysos

Dionysos

Rosenauer Straße 111, 96450, Coburg, Germany

Tee • Fleisch • Getränke • Griechisch

"On a Friday night, I wanted to go to dinner with three good friends. The choice fell to Dionysos. I was against Greek food, but I was just overwhelmed. Because I'm not a friend of Greek cuisine, as I find it little ingenious and varied. All dishes include rice and tsatsiki/Zaziki. There are pigs and lambs in meat, which are all seasoned and fried in the same way (sometimes simplified and exaggerated, but this is about my view, with which I probably don't make friends here. The capacities of the Dionysos were not fully exploited this Friday night. The restaurant also offers its meals to pick up. Location/Ambience and Cleanliness Dionysos is located in the Coburger district of Cortendorf, opposite the huge building of the former brewery Scheidmantel. The dionysos itself also gives the impression of being very large from the outside. That's it. I think it's here in the area one of the restaurants with most seats. However, it is divided into several smaller areas so that it still gives a cozy impression. The individual areas are all beautifully decorated. So there are Greek paintings, statues, arches and plastic grapes on the walls. The whole thing does not look cheesy, but very stylish. A lot of work is done with yellow or gold tones. I like the ambience very well, unfortunately I was too warm all night over myself in the T Shirt. There was nothing to complain about cleanliness. Both the guest room and our table and the toilets were clean. Four and a half stars for the ambience and also four and a half stars for cleanliness. Service To welcome, I can't say anything because I came to our little team a little later. The operators (white shirt, black trousers were friendly all night, although they did not have much warmth. We had to wait almost a quarter of an hour for our drinks, although the place was only filled to two-thirds. I drank a large orange limo (0.4l for 2.60 Euro and a small Cola (0.2l for 1.60 Euro). Asked if everything is to our satisfaction was not. The service personnel were little present overall. But I think four 20 or 21 year-olds in almost every place are taken care of differently, for example a couple in the mid-fifties. Well, all in all three stars for service. On the menus you can find some cold and some hot appetizers. There are also some soups and salads. In the main dishes one has the choice between typical Greek meat and fish dishes and dishes and plates or Plates that combine the whole. Nothing special. The food My friends ordered the garlic bread for 3.50 euros. These were five slices of roasted baguette with Tsatsiki and tasted them. As main food I ordered the village plate (Steak, Souvlaki, Gyros with tsatsiki, rice and salad for 11.50 euros. The main course came about 15 minutes after the appetizer. I can't make a statement for the supplemental salad unless it seemed relatively small. So to the other components: The Gyros was very delicate and juicy. That was clearly my favorite on this plate. Souvlaki and the pork steak hardly differed from each other tastefully. Both had gotten a little too dry. The meat was all a little too weak and too boring. The rice again tasted. I can say little about the Tsatsiki, because I usually don't like to eat Tsatsiki. Yarned the whole thing with a few raw onions. The size of the portion was neat, I am tired, even though I was not completely satisfied afterwards. In addition, another village plate, a grilled chicken breast fillet with herbal butter, Zaziki, rice and salad for 10.90 euros and a gyro with metaxasauce and cheese were baked, with rice and salad, for also 10.90 euros. There would be close three stars for the food, as the others were much more enthusiastic about their dishes than I were, I give three and a half stars for the food. Price performance ratio and conclusion The prices for the drinks are within the framework, which for food is slightly above the standard level in Coburg. The Dionysos tries so I have the impression of presenting itself as something more sophisticated than other locals in the area. At least in the ambience this also succeeds. Otherwise, the restaurant supplies average. Three stars for the price performance ratio. For my part, I decided not to visit any Greek restaurant as soon as I just won't be happy. From me there would hardly be the verdict 2 again. However, I would do wrong to the Dionysus and therefore forgive 3 if it results again (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it arises again, 4 – happy again, 5 – definitely again note: I don't think it's good that at the vault as well as at the exit journals of the Free Apostolic Pentecost (I have been looking for some posts on the Internet And that's the way they're looking at everyone. I think a restaurant should be a religious space."
