Been trying to get booked in here for a few weeks. Glad we persevered, great food ,generous portions and for the quality the pricing is very reasonable. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful and it's always a great touch to be able to talk to the owner and be thanked for your custom. Will be back for birthdays and anniversaries and spread the word.

Came here for a family birthday, after looking online for vegan options I came with low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised! I was presented with a full vegan menu and much care was taken to ensure my meal was vegan, the mushroom and walnut main was particularly delicious! As someone following a vegan lifestyle I really appreciate traditional eateries like this one accommodating me, so thank you!

Fantastic food, great friendly atmosphere and lovely staff! Me my, partner and our friend came here for dinner. We started with homemade haddock fishcakes and mussels in white wine suace. The fishcakes were light, fluffy, and tasty (my friend Christine made me say tasty instead of sumptuous lol). The mussels were large and juicy, and the white wine sauce was beautiful. The mains were all amazing. Me and my partner shared beef Wellington and a rack of lamb. We recently dined at this establishment based on glowing reviews and an intriguing interior. From the moment we entered the small parking area to the warm welcome by a helpful young man, our experience was delightful. The restaurant's decor was captivating, and we were promptly seated at a perfectly arranged table. Our waiter, a friendly and charming gentleman, efficiently took our drink orders, and the haddock fish cakes for starters were truly satisfying. The mains featured a flawlessly cooked 8oz Scottish steak, tailored to my medium preference.
