"I always wanted to fight to like browns. it is finally a large company chain restaurant (sorry, brasserie and we prefer our local, home-grown restaurants. as much as Mitchell and butler with the leather, marble and posh champagne quid for a bottle vintage dompers have actually tried quite reasonable) there is not away from the fact that there is a harvester in a pretty frock and expensive jewellery, or an all-bar-one with a piano. but the flagship restaurant brand of one of the largest catering groups Britain will never be terrible, will it?"

Visited with my girlfriend and her friend food and service was okay but we somehow managed to be overcharged when splitting the bill at the end of the night.

fantastic lunch with mama. fish and pizz on Friday. very friendly staff. no wonder it was busy. beautiful cocktails in the bar after lunch longer than we had planned to hear the piano

we had a really relaxing and pleasant meal. the service was excellent, the personal friendly and the eating was delicious. there were live entertainments that we did not expect at a week-end, but it made the atmosphere even better.

excellent visit. we felt very welcome when we walked through the door. we had a lot of time to consult the menu and settle at our table. we were offered water before we order wine. unusual, but warm. my friend had traveled for the day of inverness and we spent a wonderful afternoon in the restaurant.

great service, solid quality food. Everything on the menu was available and there were a few specials on offer. food is tasty and the ambiance was enjoyable. The restaurant was busy but we could still hear ourselves talk. The #meatfreemonday challenge wasn’t as hard as expected either – lots to choose from on the menu!

I had champagne afternoon tea here a while back, the champagne was nice but the sandwiches seemed to be filled with disappointment, leaving it up to the cakes to save the day. Unfortunately they were, for the most part, quite plain. I'm a big fan of afternoon tea and I feel this has been my least favourite experience. I would like to try more from the menu here.

my wife and I have eaten in browns a few times and had no reason to complain, but there were four of us last night who celebrated the birthday of our sohne. we had our appetizers who were good, then our main thing my meal was good, but my wife and son had to send back because the fries were cold, also the burger of my sohnes was cold the waitress asked if they wanted to renew the full meal my wife said no and my sohn said, yes both meals gotten very fast with new pommes,
