"There for a corporate breakfast first thing so wasnt bothered about any atmosphere. However i had avocado on toast with extra bacon. The avocado was so minimal it almost didnt cover the bread. It came with 1 slice of bacon which was tough. I had to stand up to get attention to order another tea and do the same again to get the bill even though there was only one other table with people in the whole place. So many better places for breakfast."

I love this branch of Browns. It's maintained so many original building features and it feels tucked away. A friend and I had a quiet Saturday morning breakfast here before going to a nearby art gallery. Lovely friendly service and a nice breakfast/brunch menu.

Note to opentable: I booked through opentable and the booking had not made it through to the restaurant they were preparing for a private party and obviously not expecting us. All credit to the staff for quickly changing plans and accommodating us in an excellent way, despite a confused and embarrassing start to the evening.
