Cactus - Menu

here a few times during our stay in the stairs, only for drinks and then their tapas menu. very friendly helpful staff, nothing too much annoying and tables regularly deleted.

We have been here twice i had moules they were ok not the best I've had but ok glass of beer and glace for afters, we came out satisfied. The staff were all great and got us served very promp.

the barman poured a cup of coffee over my pants, gave me the debt for unpredictable and refused to apologize, let them pay for cleaning. only after threatening to call policy, I could leave this very unpleasant situation. theppe is not a very beautiful city to visit, but this incident makes me as much as I can avoid.

a lunchday at 15 o'clock we sat on a table on the beautiful terrace, the pleasure on coffee and perhaps sweet pieces. a server came and asks if we want to start mentioning coffee, then he immediately snores the menus of...us, say he can't afford to occupy us his beautiful terrace only for coffee. we went next door in a wise inviting caffe, glad, not spending money on cactus. '

We stopped there for drinks and light snack. The cheese platter was enough for both of us and I think the price of €6 was fair but we had to ask for extra bread as the portion supplied was not enough. Friendly staff, speaking very...good English. Decor quirky but tired. There is a toilet for the disabled but there are three steps leading to it!!! Toilet is clean with great quality toilet paper, better than in our 4 hotel!

this place is led by shrinking teenagers. we were made to wait, then ordered to a printless waiter, finally half the order came. we have made several reminders to confuse confused waiters before we no longer moules apologise, no matter what they would not have...less then continued to serve moules that surround us, one of which stood and left some short words behind them. we should have done that too. only a tourist bait in beautiful colors, but go somewhere else people.

Dieppe is always our final stop before returning home, and a Mojita cocktail is traditionally our final treat of the holiday. Having already had a dreadful meal at La Moule Qui Chante nearby, we thought that at least we had the Cactus bar to redeem...the evening. Wrong! Whilst the decor is great for a cocktail bar, our drink, whilst not cheap, was awful this time, and the atmosphere nowhere near as friendly as every other year. Following an extremely disappointing evening in our final night in France, we'll be trying Roscoff in future!

I have stopped here twice on the way back to catch the ferry to Newhaven and on both occasions have had good meals. As usual most of the staff speak good English so easy to order etc. The steak hache is cooked medium and very...****, tastes really good but make sure to ask for well done if you are not a fan of this style. The food we have had here has generally been of a good standard at a good price. The beer is well priced at about 5 euro a pint. Cheaper than many places in France these days. The outdoor seating is great on a nice day. Inside can seem a bit dark however. They do not seem to cope as well when it is busy as I have seen a number of orders mixed up or forgotten but all are rec...

Dieppe has been a favourite place for us for years and we have had many good meals there. On a busy Sunday in August we struggled to find a place to accommodate our two families but Cactus Cafe had three empty tables so we went...there. I began to worry when the couple next to us were told no shrimp no avocado no prawns!! The kids were hungry So we persevered. Our order was taken by a rushed young man who told us that the regional ham starter we ordered was also off. We ordered creole moules and burgers and chicken wings. The waiter had only ordered one meal instead of two for our grand children and mine never arrived at all. No bread on the table and there was I ketchup either. No ketchup f...
