"Living in Aberdeen for two years it was our first time here and we absolutely loved it! The food and drinks were of exceptional composition and well curated, and the place had such a warm contemporary charm to it! Kirsty was our waitress for the night and she was spot on with recommendations and her knowledge of wines was top notch! All the staff were very friendly and warm and everyone made sure we left with smiles. Cafe Boheme is by far the top restaurant in Aberdeen for me that deserves a Michelin star and would highly recommend to anyone visiting or residing to experience it!"

Both the atmosphere and food were spot on. "We were well welcomed by the staff, and then we discovered the dining area which was stunning!The staff gave us great food recommendations: Bareh Kebab and Makhsus Joojeh (lamb chops, lamb and chicken skewer with safran rice and grilled tomato). Definitely a must try as everything is made from scratch!Then we finished our meal with a homemade Iranian safran and pistachio ice cream (a killer! and a safran tea, drunk the Iranian way of course.We ate like king and queen at a fair price.Give it a try, you won't find homemade food like this in Aberdeen :)We will definitely be back to discover more!"

"let me start with the positive ones. grub makes some creative paninis/sandwiches and plays some great music. at my first visit I had the hammer of thor in a baguette, which was a beautiful large part and super tasted. the service was very fast and also, although I arrived on a busy Monday during the lunchtime. the negative is that the inner is not the most welcoming. it is a bit naked and economical look. could be 5 stars, but just need this additional touch to make the inner more attractive."

"Have wanted to try this takeaway for a couple of years due to good reviews and a love of spicy food. So finally ordered online last night. Went for the set meal for two consisting of Poppadoms and chutney, two pakoras, salad, two mains with...rice and nan. Had the Himalayan Lamb and Hot Khathmandu Chicken for mains and it was delicious. Everything was cooked really well. Normally with a takeaway you have to re-heat the mains if you eat the starter separately but not in this case, it was all piping hot. Only very slight criticism was too much rice and a plain nan instead of peshwari or keema, but overall an excellent meal. Well worth a try."

"Went here for first time with high expectations for the vegan menu for myself and non-vegan for friends. The vegan wine was good. My starter of ZUPPA FIORENTINA was quite tasty but quite a small portion. My main of TERRINA AI FUNGHI was something I could have put together myself in 5 minutes: a bowl of passata with some plain sliced undercooked mushroom. The served with bread' didn't happen until I had eaten all the mushrooms and realised I needed something to mop up the sauce, then I got some bread after asking for some. The dessert of TORTA AL CIOCCOLATO E FRAGOLE was ok but nothing to get too excited about. The lone waitress did her best but had to be reminded a couple of times about the water we had ordered, and the final bill was not right. All in all , a bit under-impressed (I had been impressed by an Italian restaurant in Aberdeen offering a vegan menu). I won't be in a rush to got back."

"We've had home deliveries from this establishment for quite some time now but this was the first order for a while.When I telephoned I asked for the meal for two at £27 to be delivered at 7.00 and gave the chap my address and postcode.As my wife wanted a dish she hadn't had before I asked for more information..he confirmed that both dishes were of medium heat. At 6.20 my intercom buzzed,it was a neighbour..the delivery had an address but no name.I told the guy that I wasn't happy but accepted delivery.When I looked at the food my wife's curry looked like a Korma(it was supposed to be a Special Matta)and was very bland..she refused to eat anymore as she said it was more like sweet custard!. After our meal(we shared my curry which was nothing special but ok) I called to voice my disappointment and the issues I'd had.The chap I spoke to was very apologetic but said they were too busy to do anything at the moment but he was keen get the owner(he was the guy who took the order)to telephone me to apologize and see how they could make amends...my phone has yet to ring. Don't know how this poor food and service has happened but,at the moment,I have no plans to give him my business again."
