"Never got to the food. I asked for a table for the waiter pointed to a table in the sun, I told him I couldn't sit in the sun, so he pointed toward several tables across from the hotel next door. There was a...reserved sign on the table, along with most, if not all, of the tables there. I took a seat and he brought me a menu. A few min later another waiter came over and told me I had to move, this table is reserved! But, the other waiter told me to sit here, he even brought me a menu. This is reserved, you must sit over there, in the sun... Well, we went back and forth a couple of times, and meanwhile, everyone else was staring at us, so, I left."

We sat very nice outside and could look at the Main. Ice was delicious and aperol splash anyway. Very fast service

Nice place with terrace on the Main and Mainradweg. Very recommended ice offers. Service friendly and flott. A worthwhile stop.

In Germany and end up in a Italian!! The beer was good and my Pizza I enjoyed, nice base and fresh toppings. There was of us, the other two also enjoyed pizza and others pasta dishes. All left happy.

Just took a refresh to me because I was on my way with the bike, so I can't judge the food. The staff was friendly despite Covid19. You realize they all have to fight. The cafe is located on the main promenade and offers a pleasant ambience.

Visited four times in the last week, has to be the best place in town. Awesome good quality food, fairly priced and great customer service. Mostly Italian food with a few others in between : The veg ravioli is my favorite.... Would be great if...credit cards where accepted! Visualizza piatti

Very nice restaurant located directly on the Main. We were eating in October, so we only ate in the restaurant. Outside was already cleared, but from there you have a very nice view of the Main. Ambience very cozy furnished. Operation super nice. Food was also very fast there, and also really super delicious. We're looking forward to revising. Thank you.

Came off the Autobahn due to traffic and ended up in Marktheidfeld. What a fantastic little town with century buildings, a real gem mins from the motorway. The sun was just going down when we became across Cafe De Mar right on the...riverfront. Location is excellent. Staff were attentive and helpful with our English! Pizzas are very tasty and plentiful topping, Roma was my choice. My partner had the gorgonzola ravioli with spinach which I was assured was also excellent. Great food with a beautiful setting!
