"Wanted simple, easy and good. No airs, nothing over the top. Just casual and laid back. This is it. A very nice glass of red wine (2 actually) and the Bolognese made for a relaxing and enjoyable evening. Appeared to have lots of locals and a warm friendly atmosphere. One waitress seemed to tend the whole place and she did a great job. If you don't stop by for dinner, stop by the bar and order a drink. it is worth the stop."

very good location near the Düsseldorf fair ground , this is not the typical German restaurant but they offer a good variety of choices from german to indian food. the wiener schnizel are tasty , service is great and wine also. Was today a lunch in the chestnut after I heard about it at antenne düsseldorf. shared a fish soup with my friend to the appetizer. As a main dish we had spaghetti with calamari with garlic in tomato sauce and a vegetarian sweetcurry. Unbelievable! Everything fresh and incredibly delicious. The fish soup was the best I've ever eaten! Also nice and cozy ambiente. We'll be back in a definitv!
