"One of a small group of restaurants in the Piazza Magenta facing the lake but away from the crowds that congregate near the ferry terminal. Fine selection of meals on offer from meat to fish good value for the money. My wife is a rather fussy eater and normally ends up with a Tuna Salad or a sandwich but not here. On our second visit we both had entrecote steak it came on a large plate with each corner filled with salad, cooked vegetables, raw red cabbage and the steak filled the rest of the plate. As an extra we had saute potatoes. At the end we both agreed no room for dessert. The drinks and coffee served promptly and nice touch at the end a bottle of Lemoncello and 2 glasses landed on the table for a complimentary drink. Brilliant"

Il luogo è bellissimo per una cena serale. Il cibo è buono ma il servizio fa schifo. Il proprietario/uomo in carica fa un lavoro pessimo. Il Caffe Porto Vecchio è un ottimo posto per pranzo e la loro area all'aperto offre una vista incantevole sul vecchio porto, sul lago e sulla vita di strada locale. Le paste sono buone, così come i loro piatti di pesce. I prezzi sono medi per Malcesine. Il servizio è cordiale, il rapporto qualità-prezzo è buono. Un posto raccomandabile.

Il ristorante offre viste magnifiche. Il cibo è piuttosto buono, ma il tiramisù della casa era un po' troppo ricco. Il ristorante merita davvero 4 stelle, ma deve aspettare finché il servizio non verrà migliorato. Il responsabile o il capo cameriere è completamente disperso, dimentica gli ordini e interrompe le conversazioni con gli ospiti per gridare ai giovani dipendenti che non possono prendere ordini o pagare i conti. Non è un buon sistema.
