"Andy Richardson's review of Cafe Ruiz in The Shropshire Star could not have been more derogatory. It might have put me off booking for our party of 8 this evening. I am so glad it didn't. We had a truly fabulous time. Plenty of ambience, delicious food (especially the calamari and garlic chicken). Front of house were genuine, friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. They didn't rush us and we relaxed in the lovely atmosphere. Words to describe Cafe Ruiz would be relaxed, warm, authentic, delicious, ambient and a great place to relax with friends. Just goes to show you should always find out for yourself!"

the personal was friendly and welcoming, in a giggle at a point, and the atmosphere, once a few more tables were occupied, really made the night. eating was really good, hot and very tasty and an excellent choice, 3 dishes each was just the right amount. will go back, thanks for a nice meal and a great night

This is a great place to eat. It's situated upstairs and is inaccessible for wheelchair people, however Carrie England downstairs were very friendly and accommodating and also do brilliant cocktails.
