"We love Susis. From her beaming welcoming smile to the banter we have with her. The setting is very traditional Spanish somewhat isolated up the Bernia road from Jalon about 7 kilometres up a narrow winding road. The outside terrace overlooks vines and in the distance the magnificence of the Bernia Range. Indoors you have a typical Spanish house with various local and Moroccan crafts for sale on display. The meal is an all in price of either 22 or 25 euros dependent on the main course. As much local wine as you can manage. Drivers have to observe the Spanish drink driving laws. Specialities of the house are slow roasted lamb or chicken cooked in cider or with a mushroom sauce. A fish course is always an option. Alternatively you can pre order a Moroccan Tajine cooked and served in the traditional Moroccan way. We usually opt for ice cream for desert including a great turon ice cream but you can also get fruit of the season,almond cake or an egg custard."

in the middle of weinberg, the gasse expects a very good home cooking and also excellent tangins (only on preorder min 2 people). the small team is cordial and without Spanish knowledge they will continue. for us in every holiday.

Restaurante casero y no obstante llevado con suma profesionalidad por Asunción (susy), quien se desvive, con un magnífico cocinero árabe para ofrecer un menú magnífico del que hay que destacar el trajín de cordero, pasas y Almendras.
