Just had a lovely, filling pub meal,ok the decor is abit dated but the staff friendly, it was clean, over all good inexpensive meal

Went in on spec, didn't do any research. Had lunch, very good quality food, excellent value and polite staff. Is an old pub, could do with a refurb but don't let that put you off.

Visited the Castle for a meal with family for my daughters birthday. The food was amazing! It was reasonably priced, homemade and piping hot! The staff were all friendly and the place was clean. We will definitely be back soon!

Excellent Steak and Chips and plenty of it! Proper food after a hard day in the mountains! Second time we have been here and just as good. Huge thanks to the nice lady who squeezed us in and then moved us to a better table so we could enjoy our food.

Our first Sunday lunch here today. Tender beef and a nice selection of vegetables and Yorkshire pud. Tasty gravy too.Friendly staff who kindly brought us the extra veg we requested. Enjoyed the puddings too. Good price as well. Definitely returning soon.

What a refreshing change to go in a pub that is a traditional pub. Great food, had a curry and a lasagna that was obviously homemade, asked for no chips and they increased the salad and what seemed to be homemade made coleslaw as well. Loved it. Drinks an excellent price as well. Will definitely go back when we come back. No airs or graces, but a visit that we enjoyed. Visualizza piatti
