Delicious food..Great service and lovely atmosphere...lovely to have such a great place in the town.

Went last night absolutely fantastic food. Staff were amazing would highly recommend this restaurant.

First time visit to Cavello's whilst visiting family and we would 100% return. fantastic service and food with very good value for money.

Poor quality meal, expensive,, poor ambience, to small, menu was just a laminated please of card and dirty properly never cleaned tables were sticky, loud music no good for people with hearing aids. We will not be going back .

Have eaten here a few times now and the food has always been fantastic. Great choice of food including vegan and veggie options. Staff are really friendly, they went out of their way to accomodate us recently. Reasonable prices for the quality of food and portion sizes

Perfect in every way! The service was absolutely lovely; all of the staff were so welcoming and friendly. And the food! Wow... Absolutely stunning! I'd go as far to say that it was one of the best meals I have had! As a cheapskate, I was hesitant to pay £35 for a steak but it was genuinely worth every penny! As first timers, we were in adoration and will definitely be returning. Thank you to all the staff!

Excellent restaurant, and great that it is on the doorstep. Best value for money on good quality food, rather than having to go to Newcastle and the food service is just as good if not better than some leading restaurants. Excellent Steaks too at a reasonable price. Great cocktails, would definitely recommend a rum old fashioned or a Zombie, and they also stock lucky Buddha beers which is a personal fave. The staff are friendly and helpful, but overall a great restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend a visit, and good to see local independent restaurants like this do well in spennymoor!

My wife and I visited here one Friday evening this last month. I believe it was a stroke of luck to get a walk in table at this exquisite establishment.Overall we had a great time. The bar staff were impeccable with the highest quality of drinks made by a dashing young man and a very knowledgeable young lady who took the time to explain the menu to us and craft us a special cocktail of our own based on my wife and I’s tasting preferences. The bar staff here deserve the highest of praise and acknowledgement. The serving staff were good too, promptly bringing food to our table and seeing to our every need.A very minor point I just must mention. The wine knowledge of our servers wasn’t the best...

Unfortunately last night, we have had the worst service and food. It started that we couldn’t get a table until 7:15pm when we arrived it was dead. We were sent to the table and the waitress did not have a clue about the menu. my partner asked what lagers were available and she didn’t know she showed him the iPad! It was steak night and she had no idea of it. I asked her and she didn’t know! We were handed menus which we couldn’t read as the lamination was so bad we couldn’t see it We Weren’t offerd any drinks when we sat down, The 3 staff were taking at the bar all night so after 10 mins I had to get up and ask to order a drink.
