"We were recommended to visit this restaurant by our hotel but was met by a very rude and unfriendly waitor who said the restaurant was full even though that the restaurant was nearly empty and it was thursday. We asked if they had a table...for the next day but was told that it was full again. When we came home we found out that there were a lot of available tables for the next on The Fork and we even got our hotel to who also confirmed that they were able to make a reservation, but decided to find another restaurant because of the rude service. They don't seem to like tourist who doesn't speak French"

We were advised by our hotel and were not disappointed! The waitress was charming and pleasant! the boss with a humour and a very typical decor! The dishes were good and generous! the excellent sauerkraut and the mellow shrimp! We couldn't test desserts because we couldn't swallow a bite anymore.

very nice welcome of the patron saint, impeccable service, warm and full of history, beautiful choice of alsace wines, crunchy potatoes as my grandmother did. not too much oil just as it is necessary, mice of lamb robbed, tender and melting, onion pie so gustative that we would take it to dessert, brief a feast of regional dishes. a beautiful address to keep for the evenings where we want to feel bleaked.
