Great food, but they take your plate very quick. Just before the last mouthful. That was the only criticism

First time that we have used Chulmleigh Tandoori for a take away that we collected. Food and service was excellent, will definitely be returning and looking forward to dining in. Just wish they delivered!

The food at this restaurant is excellent and priced very reasonably. However, we couldn't shake the feeling of being constantly watched and rushed, even though the atmosphere was quiet. Despite that, it is definitely worth a visit.

We visited this charming small restaurant on the last night of our 3-night stay in Chulmleigh. All dishes were freshly prepared, and they were able to adapt their recipes to suit our vegan diet. The food was both delicious and served promptly, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely be returning to dine here.

I only visited trip advisor to pull off the number to book for the weekend and I was intrigued by several less than positive reviews. We 've been going there for about seven years both to eat in and for takeaways (especially during COVID). Great place, brilliant food and friendly and attentive staff. Living in Devon but working often in London I 've experienced a number of well known and highly acclaimed Indian Restaurants in town and these aren 't a patch on the Chumleigh Tandori.
