Had a delicious veggie Sunday roast here recently, but the white choc cranberry bread and butter pudding absolutely stole the show. Never tasted anything like it. Would make the trip back to Bristol for that alone! Lovely service and vibe too, I will be back!

Finally got around to going to our local pub and was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the locals were and the nice ambiance that there was. Definitely will be going back for drinks again : PS. The amount of beautiful dogs that were here made everything even better!

good atmosphere. the personal was pleasant. the woman had the steak she said was beautiful. I had the fish suitcase, was delicious. Unfortunately, the part was the size of a starter and did not contain much fish or lobster. on the plus side it was very delicious. if the size increases, I would definitely recommend. thank you. arthur Visualizza piatti

Amazing Sunday Roast! This pub has really transformed since new management, had a fantastic Sunday roast with all the trimmings, cannot fault a thing! Lovely sun terrace and selection of drinks available staff were so friendly and even provide a water bowl and treats for the doggies! If you haven’t tried the new menu you are really missing out!

absolutely first-class eating here! we were very impressed by the quality, quantity and variety. desserts were huge. several vegetarian options. there are limited parking spaces outside, but the parking spaces are free on some nearby roads after 17 clock on weekdays. the decor is not chic and the facilities a little dated, and some of the clientele were drunk louts, with small dogs around under the tables. would still go for dinner.

We needed to find a dog friendly place for lunch when visiting our son and came across the Coach and Horses. So glad we did!! The new owners are exceptional very friendly front of house and top notch food. Calamari starters were tasty, not at all rubbery lovely! We had beer battered fish and chips beautifully presented, excellent home made tartare sauce, the lightest of beer batter on a fabulous chunky piece of fish. Chips were hand cut and hadn’t seen a freezer. My son’s steak was a sound piece of meat, perfectly cooked and good quality. Decor needs a refresh but this is on the owner’s agenda but atmosphere good and food worthy of any fancy gastropub! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this p... Visualizza piatti
