The best afternoon tea I have had anywhere, absolutely delicious. Service was excellent and I will return. I could have happily stayed there all afternoon.

The cost was definitely justified, and not as high as I had initially feared.

we had arrived in edinburgh a few hours earlier to visit the festival and the military tattoo. we enjoyed the walk through the crowds that enjoy early afternoon entertainment on the streets outside and absolutely loved the contrast between radiance and noise outside with the raffinesse and the peace in this wonderful room. we were allowed a lot of time to sit down and between the curses in the wonderful cream tee. it was delicious and filling and the service of friendly people who knew their things and obviously liked their job.

We booked our table three months in advance, as this popular spot has limited seating. This was my fourth visit, and it has consistently delivered excellent experiences.
