"I visited a few drinks and chilled lunches with my friends. I was once here for drinks I knew I loved the environment. we tried the pub page first, as there were enough seats and we had the opportunity to sit outside. due to the small bar menu we decided to sit and order on the restaurant side. we were on the restaurant side and waited to be sitting. that was waiting very long for a big party before us. Unfortunately no one asked us if we had been seen, so here the quality of service was missing. we waited after 15 minutes, but because it was hot and we had good parking we stayed! after approx. 20 minutes waiting time had finally taken place, we were offered quickly menus and our drinks orders were taken. our soft and alcoholic drinks quickly arrived together with an ice cup for our wine. we all decided to burger with fritten and had a Sharer plate of potato-dupfer-nachos. the food arrived in time and everything was hot and fresh. the potato-dupfer-nacho plate was beautiful, much jalapenos and a large bowl cheese sauce, more than enough for all potato dimmers. the burgers were tasty and the fries crispy, the portions were great and we all fought for the doublepattys to finish! we couldn't even order dessert that we were so full. service was friendly and efficient, apart from the first waiting period. would be recommended and will return."

We go to the Coombe Lodge restaurant every Saturday with my elderly parents, it is very pleasant and very good food. Kinga our waitress is always very kind and friendly to us and is very efficient.

Coombe Lodge, a very nice place with lovely staff and food. The outdoor seating arrangement is quite nice but beware of some of the insects during the height of summer. It also has an excellent hotel and a very rich history. Good for the family, parties, stag and hen nights or to watch the game. Definitely recommend.

Great service and delicious food. Reduced menu could have a few more options and the place closed earlier than we hoped so our second drink was short cut. I guess it wasn't enough to take over the usual closing time, or they are at reduced hours due to COVID. All a very pleasant night and the lady who served us was on point, thank you! visited this because it is near a bed and breakfast in south croydon. the location is easy to reach by walking from the tram station over a fleeting walk. eating was a bit more pricier than what I would expect, but it was a nice facility and had a lot of variety. my wife and I have the 2 curs for £12 deal each. the portion size was good and there were vegetarian options for my wife. the service was frequent despite the liveliness and our seats behind a column. the interieur looks well furnished, but does not require any suit and tie.

We have for many years held our Pensioners Christmas lunch at Coombe Lodge. We use the Cottage Room but as we have been unable to hold it due to COVID restrictions for the last two years, the enthusiasm to get together this year was tremendous. Today we had our Christmas lunch for 21 people and the attention to detail by the staff was brilliant. Sheila and colleagues looked after us really well and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone got their food order correctly and the food itself was enjoyed by everyone. It is lovely to find an establishment where “yes we can do this” is their motto.
