"Friday 9/7/21 at 8pm. The food was exceptional. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was great. I booked this restaurant for my girlfriend's birthday as a suprise, we were not disappointed. The restaurant customer service was top notch, from when I rang to book the table, until we left. We both left the restaurant talking and feeling like we had gone out for a nice meal. Now I know this sounds silly, but I've paid a lot of money to eat out in restaurants and they've been dirty, run down, cheap looking etc... not this place. I ordered the Devon Crab Maison for starter.... I didn't want it to end!!! My girlfriend asked me why I was taking such small mouthfuls? My answer was it tastes so Good! My main was the Brittany fish stew, sea bass, prawns, squid, mussels, chilli and white wine, every mouthful was a different flavour. Delicious. When I phoned to book the table during this difficult time with Covid-19, I said to the person on the phone that it was my girlfriend's birthday, and they said to leave it in their hands... When we sat down the waitress complimented my girlfriend's dress and then bought out two glasses of champagne and wished her a happy birthday. The ambience was perfect, it felt like a date night. As customers, the staff made us feel comfortable and happy. The service was perfect, I couldn't fault it. The bill... I've paid over triple the price for very average food. The whole experience was one of the best I've had... We had Olives, 2 glasses of French white wine, 2 starters, 2 mains for £70... We both are looking forward to going back."

This is our favorite spot for one of the best gluten-free restaurants in the area. They have a dedicated gluten-free menu with a wide variety of options. Plus, they are knowledgeable about cross-contamination.

Not only was I provided with a complete dedicated menu, but I also received a special holiday menu. Each menu features FOUR dessert options! There are so many choices available. It truly is a gluten-free paradise.

For dessert, we had a mixed berry pavlova, which was sweet, tangy, creamy, and crisp. The chocolate fountain featured warm, gooey chocolate paired with some vanilla ice cream, creating a perfect balance. Overall, it was a delightful experience!

Had the Prix Fixe menu and enjoyed every bit! The whitebait was sooo good that I’m still thinking about it the next day. The pork terrine was also lovely. We paid the £3 supplement to have a ribeye steak and it felt like great value for money. On top of that, Star, our waitress, provided some great service and really knew the wine list well. Thanks Star

I had a wonderful breakfast experience at this restaurant! The staff were very friendly, and the ambiance was lovely. I'm excited to return in the summer and enjoy the outdoor seating, which looks absolutely beautiful. The French toast was amazing—definitely the best I've ever had! The eggs Benedict was also delightful, and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection.

This is a lovely restaurant with delicious food, friendly staff, and prompt yet unhurried service. The menu offers a great variety, which I find to be quite appealing. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and the portion sizes were just right. However, we were seated near the door, so it got a bit chilly when guests came and went. While it's not something they could control, I would definitely request a table further from the door if I visited again.

"Yammin-Yummy says. ... 5 stars ... also a rarely awarded- 'beezybonus'. . . now, where do I begin to begin with such an amazingly appealing selection of freshly prepared foods that one would naturally expect that, already cooked, sitting, waiting for the next hungry expected customers. this can sometimes cook up to 10-20-50mins before they are placed in front of them. not here. freshly cooked. now this beautiful example of a traditional 'fish chip love affair, established over generations of Friday nights, was beautifully designed to tell their mouth, tonge taste panties, please attach their belts, and then it is about them an incredible arbor ride. ... one who seems to go up just as once they decided what's going in their mouth first (at least the crispy tail end) begins their incredible journey up; as their eyebrows increase during thinking, omg that 's sooo different good, light, crispy teig as I've never tasted in my 37 years since the beginning in the food industry. And then I made the mistake of dipping my squid in the homemade tartaric acid sauce. that is when the 1st massive fear happened, as I thought, oh my days; the better then mean, re-entry, deeper, actually cure my wrist action, to ensure maximum absorption of this sweet/creamy/tart/caper filled taste, as I reached for a chip to accompany, strengthen the excellent experience I thought stupid would be a 'standard thing'. Now I took care of you like this, but I have seen on my chips a few each mouthful was an experience, depending on how I stacked the fork, hahahaha. the fish was so fresh that I was looking on my teller sand. ... to dedicate a joy to each chip. ... the muddy heaps, normally warmed, not microshaft to a mass-hotter-then-the-sun, went a tasty bite, and quickly also, for once. the lemon shattered haddock had to be tied to the plate, because this teig was so light that it almost raised to the deck. but as soon as this handmade tasty tartaric acid sauce meets, any responsible 'handler-of-the-fork', wants to make sure that its only trajectory can be swallowed in their waiting swallow. It was so good, I couldn't stand to leave a single diesel and with this tartaric acid sauce, which even made a bulky chip, was nothing left, I was ashamed to ask the cook the recipe for 'this sauce', as he made such a light oil-free beautiful teig. the staff is very attentive, courteous, with a beautiful large sitting area also. get yourself here quickly bungalows to make an ordinary experience, in an excellent exciting eating expedition into a court that we all know so well, but so different. ... enjoy."
