"I confess we ended up here rather by accident. We were staying at the F1 Motel next door and drove into Saint Brieuc looking for a nice place to eat out on our last night in France (ferry home from Roscoff early the next day). We were not overly taken by the town centre but we did find eventually a very lovely looking Italian - Villa San Marco - in the square at nearby Langeux. We hadn't made a reservation. The manageress (I think) turned out to be somewhat rude and dismissive, laughing off my enquiry for a table for 5 with a short, sharp "non". A very kind German couple offered us their table outside as they were about to leave but we didn't want to spend our last meal - or our last Euros - here. Suitably dismissed we arrived back at our motel, parked in the same very same place as an hour previously and walked straight into Courtepaille where we were greeted by people smiling and having a good time - diners and staff! Let's be clear, this is not the venue for your fine-dining anniversary event but for a fun, relaxed dinner it's spot on. The menu is very extensive (too many choices in fact) and the food is not top quality but that's not the point of this place. Relax and enjoy!"

Very curious, we were refused (2 covers) at 12:45 , this Saturday. "We no longer serve! » will be the only explanation, despite the places available, and the invitation to the entrance to taste their sublime andouillette!

friendly welcome, almost full restaurant, normal for a 14 July.. we shared the large taboo because of lack of space. correct inputs and dishes. impossible to receive bread for our meat plate. desserts (coffee mousse, caramel cream and fruit salads) good without more. Well, you're a good guy.

a lot too much waiting, yet a Sunday evening .choix of very succesful and not terrible salads. one of which is really too expensive compared to the amount served in a ravier. See photo.I took the super chopped 240 gr with a really not terrible cheese sauce decorated with 2 small slices of bacon 14 euros anyway. we come to ask myself if I still want vegetables, I accept another apple in the oven. We'll come back and tell me there was no more. very disappointed.Only advantageous near the hotel.
