"Chez Angel is a very warm and welcoming thatch roof Crêperie based in a wonderful surroundings. The beautiful granite stone building invites you on a trip down memory lane. The interior is furnished with taste and the large stone fire place at the back will...warm your heart and feet in the middle of winter. The host Francis is a very charming chap that will introduce to an organic menu sourced from local produce. Our suggestion is to start with a Blé Noir means Buckwheat accompanied by a lovely bottle of local cider ou Cidre and move on to the savoury Crêpes. We had Chévre et Miel Goat cheese and honey followed by les saint jacques flambées au cognac Cognac flambées scallops and if you wonder what Epaule Fumé means its what we call Bacon . We finished with yet another flambées, local Apple with Apple liquor. All is very well priced and the service was smooth and fast and the staff friendly. We would very much recommend a visit to Creperie Chez Angele for a great experience and fabulous food!"

we called for lunch without reservation. the tables are well spaced apart from the distance restrictions. we had both seafood crepps that were excellent, followed by krepps with salted caramel all delicious with local apple wine. the personal was beautiful and pleasantly worth the trip.

Fabulous. Service was as good as it can get. The lady at front of house (Angele? Was superb. Very friendly and attentive. Good service all round We realised that even on a friday night in October we should have booked a table. Food was superb...and my pear flambéed crepe was to die for. Good Bretagne cider to wash it all down made for a perfect evening. Thank you

we were recommended to this restaurant by a family member who advised us that they served the best crêpes round, so my partner and I eagerly booked a table for this evening. the restaurant was warm and welcoming and we sat near the beautiful open fireplace. the menu was extensive and offers a lot of crepps both hearty and sweet, I decided for the holy jacques that was absolutely delicious. we shared the most incredible desert crepes and a bottle of the local gaze. the staff was efficient and friendly. I would recommend a visit if they were in the opposite.

"This restaurant is wonderfully situated on the Port de Rosbras near Pont Aven overlooking the Aven estuary. A little off the main tourist trail but on a favourite part of the coastpath. We arrived at 7.00pm to be informed very brusquely that the restaurant did not open until 7.30 and although others were already drinking, we were not even asked if we wanted an aperitif. Over the next hour or so the place filled up with, it appeared, mainly local people who all seemed to know each other and it certainly seemed a popular place to be. We were the only English customers and we used our limited but usually adequate French. The wine we ordered as an aperitif was actually very nice, but we noticed the other customers drinking by the glass were getting rather fuller glasses (glasses were filled somewhat arbitrarily at the table, direct from the bottle). When the food eventually arrived - we had the 22 euro menu, it was very reasonable value, a more interesting range of dishes than most local restaurants and with a very good starter. However at no time did we feel welcome and even trying to get the bill was a struggle. We particularly wanted to walk a little way down the coastpath before it became too dark, but were unable to.In fairness, the place was very popular and most of the customers seemed to be content and all except us seemed to know the way the restaurant operated. Perhaps it is a place best left to the regulars. Certainly, if we had been welcomed this would have been a 4 or 5 star review."
