Cromer Tandoori - Menu

This is the worst curry place I have been. Waited over an hour for our food which was a balti and another curry, which were both really salty. The reviews are right it's awful and they only take cash

Average at best, poor description on menu, dishes under seasoned bill incorrect when provided. Poor unsatisfactory. cash only! Menu ingredients incorrect, for food allergies. Save your money and go elsewhere

have been with cromer tandoori ever for at least 20 years and find both the current and earlier owners to be very friendly. eating is always really good and does not compare the others locally. the taste of the dishes is consistent and do not remember a bad farewell.

Amazing eating, 45 years eating Asian cuisine in restaurants from all over Britain, eating cromer tandoori is up there with the best. do not take my word, try it yourself. madras curry with fresh chili mushroom reis buttered naan stag aloo my recommendation. well done.

not sure why people leave the bad review, but this place was amazing! excellent service and delicious food! one of the best Indian restaurants that I was also! the appetizers and the main dishes were from the world! They are really busy, as clearly shows how good this place is!

We all had different dishes but found them very bland. Mine was chicken passander which was in a lumpy tasteless sauce. The other had a speciality chilli chicken which again was tasteless apart from the sudden blow out from a chilli. The next dish was butter chicken which came with a large lump of butter it. The rices and nans were very average to say the least. Will not be returning.

We had reservations about eating here from reading the previous reviews and when you look at the place on line it's nothing special to look at and we expected just a couple of tables only . However our experience was good and this is a lovely restaurant and a good service. My only negatives would be the lamb was a little chewy and the portions possibly not as large for what we needed . However I would go back when we are next in Cromer.

Looking for somewhere to eat last night on our first night of holiday and came across this place. It may need a luck if paint but was clean, as were the loo”s. Food really good, hubby had a speciality hut curry, said was really good and I had a very good chicken rogan josh. Shared a paratha that had sliced potato in it, very nice, Bombay potato’s, onion bhajis that weren’t greasy and a really good mushroom rice. The bill was difficult to read, but we had an idea if cost and it met that. Only takes cash and cheques which is very unusual today, but so good we are going back before we head home next weekend .

If you are use to having your curry made with a jar sauce from the supermarket and enjoy it....dont bother with this restaurant. The Cromer Tandoori is by far the most authentic tasty Indian food we have eaten anywhere in the UK. We had several dishes...the simple chicken balti through to lamb dansi and the flavours were sublime. The mushroom rice actually had mushrooms too!! The service was provided by a very lovely man called Sali (apologies if I spelt his name wrong). He was very humble and attentive. Many review comments concentrate on the decor of the restaurant and, yes we would agree to a point that it is somewhat dated, however ...if you want a delicious Indian meal with friendly cus...
