Dined here on Saturday with my better half. Food and service were second to none. Very attentive staff and lovely decor. Highly recommend.

Popped in for a quick working lunch today. Slap bang in the centre of Stirling which is handy for me. I got Wifi, I got my cold drink, I got THE most delicious goats cheese tart, but best of all, I got great friendly service! I shall be back.

we were a bit skeptical to eat here, as usually hotel food is overpriced and underwhelming- must say that this experience was the complete opposite. cheap and 1. class eat. I usually never leave evaluations, but felt obligated due to the quality of food!

a really nice, clean and relaxed place with a large and well-stocked bar. pretty quiet when we visited, but that was ideal because we were friends and had a good chat over a few well served pints. I'm back in a definitive, hidden gem in the middle of dying!

came for a family trip to die and came here for food and drinks. it was by far the best place we had eaten in our holiday. the personal was absolutely sweet and eating and drinks are cheap for how beautiful a place it is! when we are back in dying, we will not go anywhere else:

beautiful, cozy hotel, right in the heart of the death. a thing I have with it was that the wlan did not reach the space. otherwise it has good food (I did not try dinner in the evening, but I have breakfast), and the hotel is beautiful both inside and outside (most of them at least).

stay here for a 3 day weekend in the mai. great location, right in the city close to many coffee and sandwich shops, the small shopping center 2 minutes, before which closed 10 to 15 minutes to foot, because its all uphill from the hotel. near the train station, with luggage available. cronies pub is an excellent choice for a meal, eating was delicious and excellent service. our room overlooked the main street, no problems with noise. hotel has a lot of character and history that we love about the golden lions.

friendly and helpful staff, we had room 103 very good until the kitchen extractors came at 6:00 a.m. (not complaining), the room was clean and tidy and quite large. the bathroom was good and looked flawless. but the tight ventilator, one of the ceiling lights and both lights on both sides of the mirror did not work. we were for a high time and I must say that it was exceptionally well organized and that eating was excellent. the breakfast buffet was good, but the fried eggs were cold and the sausages were like chewing gum. everything in all a good place to stay and a great location. If we ever get to death again, I would stay in room 103 despite everything.
