"I booked this place for an anniversary celebration of afternoon tea. They reply through FB messenger quickly. They were able to arrange sandwich options and confirm my reservation. I arrived very hungry and afterwards was very full and had to take to leftovers home. It was delicious. Parking was plentiful outside with sports facilities and skatepark in the vicinity. I will be going back Kid-friendliness: There were plenty of children in here. I wouldn't say there were things for the kids to do inside but there are no restrictions on them coming in. There is the play ground, sports and skatepark right next door of the kids are old enough to go play on their own Parking: Plenty of parking when I visited. I don't know the number of spaces but I would estimate 50. Maybe if some sort of event was on or going on in the sports area it could be busy."

I sat outside with friends during a bike ride around Ivanhoe Beacon and enjoyed a fantastic egg and bacon sandwich along with a black Americano. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4. Visualizza piatti

When we go to Ashridge or Ivinghoe we make sure to come here to eat. Setvice is great. Easy parking and dog friendly. They do amazing bacon sandwiches using thick tiger bread, the bacon is never overcooked. They also do home made cakes which are divine. Coffee is good as well. Wish we could move this place closer to where we live. We continue to enjoy coming to the Curiositea tea room. Service: Dine in

Meal Type: Brunch Price Range: £1–10 Food Rating: 4/5 Service Rating: 3/5 Atmosphere Rating: 3/5 I recently visited this restaurant for brunch and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The food was definitely the highlight, earning a solid 4 out of 5 for its quality and taste. There was a decent variety on the menu, and everything I tried was satisfying. However, the service could use some improvement, as I rated it a 3. The staff were friendly but a bit slow in attending to customers during peak hours. As for the atmosphere, it was average, also rated at a 3. The ambiance was comfortable, but nothing particularly stood out. Overall, for the price range of £1–10, it’s a goo...

"Since I live in the area, I have been a semi-regular customer other Rose and Crown at Ivanhoe for many years. However, of late – and particularly on a Sunday lunch time– I have encountered a rather unprofessional and unsavoury practice that surely is guaranteed to put a customer’s back up. Although the menu clearly states what food is available, when one come s to order a Chicken Caesar salad for example, I was told that “chicken is reserved for those who have pre-booked” (and there is no sort of disclaimer on the menu . The reasoning appears to be that it is not that that particular dish is unavailable despite being on the menu, but rather a key ingredient is reserved for someone who has pre-booked a table, and therefore may or may not actually turn up, or indeed may or may not order a dish with chicken in it. I have never encountered such ridiculous policy before, which seems to treat its customer with utter contempt. I was not the only one to voice my displeasure, as when I later passed through the bar, I overheard a lady (who I suspect was from overseas, was seriously remonstrating with the bar staff over the same issue. However, a rather unattractive and older white haired woman – who I assume was a local resident and therefore got to the chicken first – seemed to find this all rather amusing. So my advice I don’t go there, as obviously you custom is only welcome in possible preference to others and when it suits the owners. Hospitality is obviously not the Rose and Crown’s real business, rather it is only taking your money."
