"I work direct next to this restaurant. Last week we decide with college to eat here for the Lunch. We take a seat and say, please make it speed because we juste have 1 hour. The guy give us the journey menu. And when we ask if we could take some plat in the normal menu he said "yes".But when I ask for bolognese spagetti he said just "no"... no explication, no "sorry not today" just "NO" => that not tolerable!I dont such to understand and choose and other plat.We wait then 20 mintues. When I said (again) that we didn't have time. He said : we are here an Italian restaurant, not a grill place... it takes time (for pasta.... really???)... no sorry, no "it's coming"...Definitly a realy bad place to eat!"

Very well localized, close to the cathedral. Good quality of food, served with quality and fast. Very good mare pasta option

Pretty "secret" location, hard to find if you do not have good eyes. Pretty distant service, but very good food. Reasonable prices.

Fair price and familiar, good italian pizza (not really easy to find). I would recommend it. The location is also good, you can easily reach the place walking from the cathedral in a couple of minutes. Visualizza piatti

Staff very friendly although don't speak English but we got by. Meal was delicious. Just be careful of the owners dog, which is allowed to roam round the restaurant, it's only little but has a mean bite.

What a bad place. The don't even understand a pizza Peperoni. Service is arrogant and bad. Do not go here. The waiter didnt warn us that there was a big group, so we waited waited and waited. When we asked we got an arrogant reply that we had to go to Mc Donalds. Not a nice place to have a relaxing dinner.

Local friendly but for tourists stay away . You will be unhappy with the limited menu. I saw good pizzas but at 21:45 I ordered a pizza and they said it was DONE for the evening. SO no pizza??! limited but pricey pasta. Not a great place for a person or people going through/.……. many other options in center Visualizza piatti

I was here with a bunch of guys the other night. Food is alright, service and atmosphere is just so Italian- very familiar like, like a family run business. Anyway, food was tasty and they had no troubles with Vegetarian special requirements. Certainly there are better restaurants but this one is quite nice and there's a good price value. Well located at the Cathedral and no tourist trap.

Maybe they try to be 'authentic' or they just don't know how to work professionally, but with those prices you expect something better. They don't give a good excuse when the food is late, they show you the menu in a big blackboard and you must decide what you want immediately (they don't give you a list and give you time to decide alone), they speak loud, people who work there are with friends in front of clients making noise...

"In a 5-day stay in Cologne and as a lover of Indian cuisine, we had planned the Ginti. The visit took place on Monday to the beginning of noon. The reception was very friendly and cordial by the Lord of the House. The decor in Ginti is very modern, stylish, but also somewhat sterile and only very discreet supplements with Indian accessories. Young guests will probably find favors in the style of the institution. The place was still empty and so there was a chance to get a brief conversation with the mistress of the house. She brought us the menus, and there were Papadam with three from a culinary point of view pretty boring finished dives. We chose both a mango sauce as a drink that was thin and most likely prepared on the basis of a mango powder. Disgusting! I ordered as main dish Malai Kofta, vegetable balls in a mild curry sauce with ginger, garlic, almonds and coconut. This is not only one of my favorite Indian dishes, but it is also a dish that places higher requirements on a kitchen and therefore cannot be found in any Indian restaurant on the menu. In addition, quality and freshness can be well valued with this bowl. I ordered this dish with a higher sharpness, but not through the sauce, but ultimately through the vegetable balls themselves. The latter were produced excellently and their loose inner composition had the freshness of the preparation felt. This was undoubtedly a 5-star court. My accompaniment had opted for Tandoori King Prawn Masala, marinated royal cloves from Tandoor in a sauce with tomatoes, cashew nuts and raisins. This dish was also very tasty, rather mild and very generous in the number of shrimps. The rice was served unfavorably on an open bowl and had to measure any fragrance and aroma that could originate from cardamom capsules or spice cloves. After the main dishes were convinced, we were curious about the Indian ice cream, Kulfi. This came visually well over a carrot cut into slices, but could not be along tasteful. It was crystallized, little creamy and the aromas of the aforementioned mango powder were reappeared. Conclusion: a highly recommended Indian restaurant due to the excellent main dishes, but not yet matured in its culinary periphery. Therefore, provisionally three stars with an inclination to four."
