Am back a second night running for fine Italian food at a good price, quickly served, friendly staff and a very happy laughing atmosphere. You'll get your basics here -- pasta, pizza, meat, seafood, Campari -- all with a smile and free WiFi. Great coffee too.

The place is nice and cosy, feels somewhat authentic. We ordered 1 pizza and 3 pasta dishes (for 5 people) and waited 50 minutes!!There was no apology or anything and even when we asked,they just smiled and went on. When the food finally arrived it was OK,good size portions but the pizza was served un cut and the marinara sauce was not the best. Too bad...

A small Italian restaurant, this is a very friendly place with very good, freshly cooked food. Excellent service and a happy, informal atmosphere. I've been here a couple of times before; tonight my flight was later, the train from the airport was late and I just dumped my bags in my room nearby before heading over to this restaurant. Complimentary fresh bread, with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar whilst I waited a few minutes for tagliatelle with shrimps and spinach - delicious!Very reasonably priced too - an absolute gem!

We were in Cologne for a very short visit and just ventured out for a supper...with pizza in mind. Went by a few Italian restaurants but weren't convinced, as soon as we saw this one, it was a no brainer. Neither of us ended up having pizza. My husband had a steak and couldn't decide between poivre or mushroom sauce so the owner said he'd combine them. Absolutely delicious came with amazing potatoes..I had the lasagna and it is the best lasagna I've ever had. Our apetizer was the bruschetta, amazing....wine was great. Even the fresh bread rolls (still warm) that they give you as you sit down was amazing. Fresh bottle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar at each table. Price was a nice surprise...

Found this after wandering around for some time trying to find somewhere to eat on a Sunday night in Cologne. It's down a little corridor and looks very unassuming, but we were welcomed in even though it was VERY busy and they found us a table. There's a little heated outdoor patio area, though we sat indoors. We shared a carpaccio starter which was really very good, followed by possibly the largest pizza we've seen in a long time, and a huge bowl of Arrabiata pasta. The service wasn't hurried to say the least, and the food did take a while to arrive, although we weren't in a hurry and the waiter did apologise for the time it took. Prices are very reasonable indeed, particularly for the port...

We chose this restaurant as it share's my name & thought it would be rude not to visit! Although when arriving we were unsure if we should just sit down or wait to be seated, we soon were welcomed in by the barman & decided to sit indoors. They do have menu's in English if you ask. I ordered the pizza Diana & my colleague had the pork steak in white wine sauce. It was a small wait, as the chef rolls the pizza dough out fresh, but it was definitely worth it!
