"During a 5 day trip in Sicily, we had to return to this wonderful restaurant. Enzo is the chef and he knows what is best for you. Forget about the menu ask what he recommends. The waiters are young, kind, professional and speak well...English. So no problem understanding what was fresh in the kitchen on both occasions. On the first evening we had only fish and what delicious cooking. Fresh, well prepared and very balanced food. The grilled Sicilian large prawns and the grilled sea bass were outstanding as the rest of a total of 10 fish, octopus, shrimp and more dishes we enjoyed. Enzo suggested the sparkling white wine (excellent choice). Honest pricing. Before leaving we indicated that we wanted to return 4 days later and were just welcome. This time we wanted to taste a broad range of what the kitchen offered: First the encrusted (bread) mussels in a red tomato sauce it was like the sun came out of this dish when we broke the crust. Perhaps one of the best Italian dishes ever! Then on to tasting the outstanding house pizza with a dough light and crispy, tomato, ham and cheese simple ingredients but with an outstanding taste made by the pizzaiolo Carlo. Then on to the meat of Angus beef, tender and tasty, a large salat, crisp and fresh. Enzo suggested a bio Nero d'Avola red that surprising paired well with it all! Dessert was suggested again by the kitchen as fried paste covered with Nutella and paired with a sweet Zibibbo. All in all an outstanding meal with a reasonable pricing. As we intend to visit Sicily again this will be a restaurant to return to. What more can we say?"

Their mussels in crust are to die for! Crispy pizza crust and a wide variety of pastas. Atmosphere is cozy and quaint, down stairs into the stone walled restaurant.

Donnas is an experience. They're hidden down a skinny alley in Motta near the castle but well worth the hunt. If you're interested in seafood I suggest the sea bass and mussels. Both are excellent! Visualizza piatti

on Thursday evening to dinner. interesting layout as there are a few different dining rooms, each with a few tables. the service was quick and polite, and they speak English. a lot of menu and many pizza options. reasonable price. parking near the street.

We wanted authentic Sicilian food and we weren’t disappointed. My son ordered pizza and it was magnificent, my wife ordered the octopus salad and pasta and I ordered the mussels which was all delicious. One of our favorites whenever we are in the area. Highly...recommend!

I was apprehensive about having to walk up a dark alley to enter this restaurant, but that was quickly put to rest once inside. This is a quaint family restaurant with a remarkably varied menu. Cena al ristorante al top. Ottimi antipasti (consiglio involtini di speck e formaggio), eccellenti gnocchi di zucca e gorgonzola, eccellente e delizioso tris di cortesia. Per mia moglie che è vegana ottimi noodles ai funghi porcini e antipasto di verdure fritte varie. Naturalmente i tempi di attesa rispetto alla pizzeria sono lunghi. Ma vale la pena aspettare e ricevere sia piatti di qualità che di quantità.

Questo ristorante offre un'esperienza culinaria incredibile con viaggi davvero buoni. Abbiamo mangiato un'angus di 600g che era veramente buono, così come la pizza al pistacchio (Super-Buona) con opzioni senza glutine disponibili. Il tipo di pizza Carlo è stato fantastico con i nostri bambini che erano irrequieti poiché eravamo in ritardo per cena, così ci ha dato dell'impasto per pizza ai bambini e gli è piaciuto molto. Alcuni di loro sono stati addirittura cucinati. I bambini hanno potuto anche vedere come preparava la pizza e si sono divertiti a vedere Carlo nella loro tradizionale cottura. Consiglierei sicuramente alle famiglie con bambini di visitare questo posto e mi piacerebbe tornare...
