we returned here on a hike and were deliciously hosted. the service was very friendly and also spoke a little English.

Corsican meal. Good food and tasty. Goat cheese salad was fresh and crunchy, ham and sausage starter of Corsican delicacies. Stew of wild hunt was tender and tasty.

Our first night in Corsica and after driving down to the village, and seeing how quiet it was, we were a little worried that we might be on our own. We were pleased to see that they were quite busy, the owner was very welcoming and the pasta meals my wife and I tasted were excellent. A lovely dessert and some local firewater to round it off made for a lovely evening.

We've had an amazing dinner at Bar du Lac. An fantastic host welcomed us and told us a little bit more about the restaurant: they only work with daily fresh products (some of their own garden) so they work with a small menu of suggestions. We took the menu for 28 euro: starter main and dessert! Great pure flavours and lovely combinations ! If you want to have a lovely dinner or lunch: make sure you make a reservation at this place: you won't regret it.

Visited the restaurant on a trip from the east to the west. What a gem on the road! They serve food from their own farm, and is served by friendly waitress. I had a burger, and it was the best I had in long time. It was big and served on tasty bread, with a piece of bacon and fried cheese on some lettuce. It came with fries that were also really good! I regret not having taken a photo.. The quality is outstanding and it was not expensive. The reason for only four stars is that the waitress forgot the water with the tea we had, and we had to follow up ourselves.
