"On 17th February 2024, It's been a long time since I sent it to you. All staffs were very kind as usual. All curtains were also very good. We enjoyed very much. Thank you! On 27th November, we visited here for our lunch. Staffs were very kind! The meals were also very good as usual. Looking forward to visiting again. Thank you! On 3rd July 2021, my wife and I visited this restaurant for our lunch. All staffs are very kind as usual and the meal taste is also very good as usual. We enjoyed very much. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Thank you! Saturday‘S lunch in here. I think this dumplings is very taste. Comfortable restaurant and very kind staff."

Me and the buisness hopped off the bus and took our takeaway pizza it was very good one of the best pizzas ive ever had 10/10 must try again

Their dumplings are very delicious and I like the fact their are made fresh and in front of you. Their other dishes and sides are delicious as well. Highly recommended

I don't think I've tried a better Mapo tofu since... well.. since Sichuan! : Hard to find a place in Europe that uses real Sichuan peppers. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavour!

Always my favorite place to eat in Edinburgh. Not big restaurant but the menu is great. The taste here is very different with the other ones in Edinburgh. Love all the homemade dish here like homemade beef and pickle fish. Staff is very friendly.

I dined there on my first visit to Edinburgh. I ordered a large portion of boiled pork and onion dumplings and mine accompanied by a soup of noodles, shrimp and tomato. Both of these dishes were ok, the boiled bundles were a hair too much for my liking. We also shared a plate of Japanese Tofu with Broccoli, which was spectacular. We spent a total of £43 for three mains and two fizzy drinks.

The Maos Pork (belly) is transporting. The photo in the menu looks more restauranty , but when it comes out it looks and tastes like my grandma made it. Lots of lean pork with just enough belly fat (not too much fat as happens sometimes). Paired it with morning glory 通心菜 , it 's like home cooking. Sorry I forgot to take a photo before I devoured it. Will be back to try the many other tasty items on the menu and will update!

OMG! This is definitely a Top Notch Savoury Northeast Cuisine that is a GEM in Edinburgh. The sweet and sour crispy pork is you can't miss out in your order. The pork is so crispy and juicy! The dumplings are full of flavours and the chef handmade each and every! Definitely a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED RESTAURANT IN EDINBURGH. The owners are very customer orientated and you will definitely be welcome with so much smiles and warmth! Very Authentic Northeastern Chinese cuisine that you will be able to find in the HEART OF EDINBURGH.

"new kapitel has caught my attention after I was on top ten on trip advisor only months after the opening in the oktober last year. that and the fact that it is open for my early january birthday, made it the perfect place to celebrate to become a little older. I was with the man and his family. the man is quite used to my taste and good to the kind of kitchen that would appeal to me for a special occasion; his family not so much and I was filled with shame as his mother scornful went through the menu trying to find something she would enjoy. I've eaten with the family of the man, and I know they enjoy eating, so I think it's a failure of the menu that it is not accessible. the benming always blooming and garnish can appeal to some, but for others it is overcomplicated and it is necessary to find a balance between the two. we start with the starters and I go for venison sour wort pithvier. the venison was underheated and incredibly dry, to the happiness the sourded a little moisturizing and so saved the whole dish, but the aromen were quite not clear, except the garnitur of plastered mushrooms I thoroughly enjoyed. for the largest part we chose a fish dish for our main,- sea trout, smoked muddles, petersilien and coast herbs. where the starter fell, the main recording is getting back. the dish is rich and creamy, and each element adds the complexity of the taste as a whole, without disturbing. the concept is now an old one, and it would be deceptive if it had not worked, as it would essentially pay with this place. I enjoyed my meal in new chapter, although I do not agree with it is stellar status under the hierarchy of edinburgh eateries. it is top ten position is just a flash in the pan of hot popularity, and in time it will be plated in the upper half of the middle stage where it belongs. and that is where it belongs, the dishes can be plated with a michelin star in understood, and the venue and the supporting media has the clean lines and empty slate look of fine but eat the team has a long gone to go if that is their real aim. at the end, although it was a beautiful meal, and cheap (at the moment I would not be surprised to see their prices slowly rise) and the man’s mother found something they enjoyed and that is the most important."
