"Cena di coppia la prima sera un francia. Il posto si presenta carino sia dentro ma soprattutto fuori. Il personale, tutti giovani, sono cordiali e molto bravi e disponibili sia nella spiegazione dei piatti che nel consigliarti. I piatti si presentano molto bene e ascoltando anche i vicini anche molto buoni. Noi abbiamo preso un antipasto, una terrina, un piatto di anatra accompagnata con verdure e una insalata del giorno. Il tutto accompagnato con due vini bianchi, la carte dei vini è veramente importante. La cottura della carne era perfetta, sapore deciso, ma anche se non sono un amante molto buona. L'insalata, anche se troppo cara 17 euro, divina (fatta con pollo, feta, pomodori secchi cipolla..). Abbiamo preso un chase cake per finire. Il tutto direi nel complesso buoni, ma il conto forse troppo alto. Diciamo che se per l'anatra 18 euro sono accettabili per una insalata 17 euro e una fetta di dolce 8 forse sono troppi. La qualità comunque c'era.!!"

"My wife and I are complete 100% food snobs from the United States and Southeastern Pennsylvania. We are used to top of the line food quality and service and expect the best when dining on vacation. That being said, we were absolutely blown away and impressed with the service and quality of food.We started of with appetizers of course, and they were delicious! The bread was incredible, and the wine was also excellent. The entrees we had were then filet steak and my wife had the risotto. We could not get enough of the food here - and my advice for any American tourist is to perhaps order an extra appetizer or entree because like many French restaurants this restaurant has smaller portions. We recommended this restaurant to every couple we talked to Avignon because it was absolutely a 5-star experience all the way around, perhaps our favorite restaurant in all of our entire European trip to London, Paris, Avignon, and Nice."

"Il suffit de passer le pont sur la DURANCE et de découvrir à l'entrée du village bucco-rhôdanien, une maison accueillante où sont présentés avec le sourire et "avé l'accent" des produits dont la fraîcheur a de quoi réjouir les papilles...Service attentif, menus accessibles et spécialités de coquillages et de poissons pour rassasier les gourmets.A noter que la carafe d'eau fraîche est proposée, même si l'on se contente d'un verre de Chablis, la bouteille d'un excellent domaine étant présentée intacte..."

"This restaurant was a great find. It was away from the more touristy area (about a 6 minute walk) and had a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Although it was quite a windy day we were able to sit outside in the lovely courtyard (hence the name of the restaurant) which is behind an attractive stone wall with trees in the courtyard which makes it feel like a garden. There were 8 of us and we were a bit late however the waitress was very welcoming and friendly and soon had us seated and served with a welcome drink. Everyone was happy with their food selection (which is not always the case with a group of 8), which was varied, looked great and very tasty. It was a great lunch and as organisers we got a 10 out of 10 from the group!"

"Lovely find on our last night in Avignon. Beware, portion sizes are huge I had the salad verso, that would have done a main course but then I had the pizza cap, lovely and spicy but twice the size of the pizzas everyone else was eating, so check the size before ordering. Definitely no room for dessert. Lovely friendly service. Wish we’d found it on day 1."
