"Wir haben das Lokal mit vier Personen Paar mit Verwandten zu einem späten Mittagessen ab 13.30 Uhr besucht. Daher hatten wir auch vorher reserviert. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und zu einem schön eingedeckten Tisch im Innenraum geführt. Das Ambiente des Raums ist insgesamt sehr angenehm. Als Hauptgerichte haben wir uns die Tagliolini Storchennest, die Pizza Popeye und die Triangoli mit frischen Steinpilzen aus der Tageskarte ausgewählt. Alle Gerichte waren auf den Tellern sehr gut angerichtet und haben uns auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Zum Abschluss haben wir wir uns noch einen Espresso Macchiato gegönnt, der ebenfalls zu empfehlen ist. Obwohl wir aus privaten Gründen sehr spät waren, wurden wir ausnahmslos sehr freundlich bedient und konnten auch nach 14.30 Uhr Betriebsschluss noch einige Zeit sitzen bleiben, ohne zum Verlassen des Lokals aufgefordert zu werden. Nicht nur uns, sondern auch unserer Begleitung hat das Lokal sehr gut gefallen und das Essen auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Speisekarte mit Pasta und Pizza bietet eine gute Auswahl italienischer Speisen. Leider ist in der Karte für Fleisch kein italienisches Gericht, wie zum Beispiel Saltimbocca oder Ähnliches zu finden, sondern nur Steak- und Schnitzelvarianten. In einem italienischen Restaurant erwartet man doch auch italienische Gerichte. Hier wäre vielleicht eine Anpassung der Karte zu bedenken. Dennoch werden wir das Restaurant wieder besuchen,"

Not real mexican. Friday night was still busy though we couldn't understand why. Very noisy and restaurant split into smoking and non smoking area. We had a big group as a walk in and they were able to accomodate us but the service was not...up to scratch. Food is terrible very salty and average. I felt that you can get more authentic mexican food from guzman y gomez in Australia or Singapore. Drinks were average. Waitress spilt coleslaw all over my friends coat and sweater. Only offered an apology... not so impressed

Kein Wunder, dass man Samstagmittags kaum einen Tisch bekommt, wenn man nicht vorbestellt hat. Sehr schönes Restaurant. Allerdings unter Storchennest erwarte ich nicht unbedingt ein italienisches Restaurant. Wir wollten bloß eine Pizza, obwohl es eingedeckt war, wie bei einem Edel Italiener. Aber gar kein Problem. Die größere Überraschung kam jedoch mit der Pizza. Selten in Deutschland so einen leckeren Teig gegessen stimmte alles: Geschmack und Konsistenz. Mit der gleichen Liebe auch der der Belag: meine Quattro Formaggi war der Himmel auf Erden. Und das zu sehr fairen Preisen. Gerne immer wieder.

"Location The monastery town Lorsch celebrated its 1250th anniversary this year. The small but fine menu includes German carving glory and pasta, soups, salads but also very precise prepared specialties such as fish dishes. Daily dishes are placed on a large slate board in front of the guest. All appetizers come freshly attractive to the table and are a pleasure. Tastefully we are not disappointed here. The baked mushrooms with herbal butter and salad bouquet (6,90€ are relocated with fruity mango and pineapple. The mushrooms are fried and nutty in taste. After the grilled Peperonis (5,10€ you will be addicted. With the fragrant bunny, with a little chilli oil, nothing seems unpleasant, but rather emphasizes the taste. White bread is served for this – unfortunately not fresh in the day. The supplemental salads consisting of carrot strips, red and white cabbage salad, Lollo Rosso and field salad and were somewhat inexorable. The field salad covered with a little balsamico, otherwise there was no dressing. You could put it together personally. Oil and vinegar stood on the table. The skewer with pepper sauce, fries and salad (14,50€) was somewhat contradictory and so was it. The wonderfully delicate meat could not be detached from the wooden skewer. The pepper sauce also disappointed here. The pepper was barely tasted and the sauce does not support the desired taste of the whole dish. The Pommes didn't keep the set standard completely, but had gotten a little too soft. Because the portions were still to be handled, there is still enough room for a dessert. The sweet vanilla ice cream, with unfortunately only lukewarm raspberries (5.50€ and also the piping with hot cherries on vanilla ice cream and creamy vanilla sauce (6.80€ convinced quite.
