"We have visited the Restaurant Elia several times and on each occasion we were totally spoilt. From the friendly greetings to the complimentary Ouzo, the toasted bread and Olive Oil to the main meal, all went perfectly smoothly. The attentive staff must be complimented, drinks are served promptly, side salad is provided before the meal and further complimentary desert and Ouzo make the meal a pleasant experience. Now to the actual paid-for food on the plate: we and our guest usually come back for the grilled "Kalamari Psito" (€11.40) which are prepared perfectly. Try it. Our tip: if you don’t want to make a pig of yourself, go for the "Seniorenkarte" (Senior Portions), seven calamari together with the offered bread & olive oil, Pilaf-Rice, potatoes, the lemon-oil sauce and the salad is plenty for most people. The complimentary desert after the meal is a nice touch without spoiling a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere. The only negative item I might point out, is the Pangasius (fish). Why does a good restaurant offer such a poor quality fish with all it’s controversial background (google it). This alone would normally put us off setting foot in such a place. Apart from this, we are happy to recommend Restaurant Elia which certainly is a shining light amongst the Bad Toelz gastronomy. Prices are reasonable and we will soon return to be spoilt once more. (PS: we not related or befriended with anybody working in the restaurant, but we feel we are treated like friends)"

Amazing food and fantastic service. Not much English but enough to figure things out and have an amazing five course meal for a great price. The staff was friends and location beautiful as well.

a successful conclusion for the city visit we have made here. the food was very tasty, the service friendly and attentive. the chef gave out, ouso, although it was certainly not easy to survive in the corona periode. I can only thank you for this beautiful evening. You don't think so.

We stumbled across this place in Bad Toelz whilst walking up the main street. We were looking for something other than the usual local fare. The staff were friendly from the get go and set us up at a nice table. The food was excellent, particularly the lamb and they were very happy to cater to our fussy daughter. This has to have been one of the best meals on our trip so far! Thanks to our waiter for the ouzo as well!
