Emerald Chinese - Piatti

First time here and impressed. Decent but a little plain surroundings but food was very good. Had set menu as we haven’t eaten at Chinese in a long while and it was lovely.

Come to here 3 times a year. Great food. Nice surroundings. Can recommend the 5 course Banquet for around 12 per head. Real value for money the salt,pepper chicken wings are to die for.

Fantastic service....meal was served quickly and efficiently and tasted amazing ...lived beyond expectations and will definitely call back here when in the area again ...would recommend to anyone in this area

I have been to this restaurant now for years, I went last month and it was awful, the food was so greasy. I have heard that its been taken over by new owners. The toilets was disgusting and there was an inch thick of dust on the dado rails around the room. I wont be going again

We have been going to this popular family restaurant for a few years and enjoy the food at every visit. Very pleasant welcome, good service, reasonably priced and good portions. Always a tasty evening and we leave in a happy and contented frame of mind. Best value is the banquet at £12 per head. Multiple choices with starters, mains and pudding. Licensed. The food is very good and the ambiance is bright and comfortable. The staff have difficulty understanding requests and will argue if they think you're not being clear. I ordered a large bottle of water and got a small glass of tap water, the wine wasn't very pleasant either, but the food did make up for it. It was very busy, but we did manage to finally attract the attention of one of the waiters and they were quick fetching drinks etc. It's definitely an experience, but we will definitely eat there again.

Our family went to the emerald today for my mother's 75th birthday celebrations. There were 14 of us in total and to say that there were only 3 people serving we couldn't fault them whatsoever. Our orders were taken promptly and food arrived not long after piping hot, most of us had opted for the special buffet offer of 5 courses for £11.50. The food was excellent, extremely tasty and plentiful, could not complain about any of it!! The staff were very friendly and attentive especially to my mother ensuring she enjoyed her meal and had a nice time.

I stopped going to my local Chinese takeaway (Evergreen in Kingswinford after 24 years as it changed hanbs and the food became horrible. So i ventured out to find a new one and tried the Emerald Chinese in Wall Heath, approx. 3 miles from my home , as it got 4 to 5 star ratings ,what a mistake! I ordered my food to collect and when i arrived the lady promptly handed it to me,so far so good, she said it was £8.40 ,so i handed her a twenty pound note ,she immediately put up her hands stating ,dont you have anything smaller,i replied ,its a twenyy pound note and you are a business and i am not a bank.
