Had a take away panini last week. Absolutely amazing. Very fresh and lovely side salad with crisps and coleslaw. Staff very friendly

Opposite the police station this is,a cafe with cosy and comfy seating areas. Good range of food at decent prices. Staff were friendly and courteous. I'll definitely be coming back

Go there all the time with friends, family or partner and its the top cafe in Bargoed by a mile! Food is always at least 9/10 and all the staff are super friendly and happy to help!

Booked for 11 of us to have Sunday dinner 1pm. First meal came out at 1.15.....last meal came out at 1.55. Terrible service! The girls working there were lovely and polite and apologetic, but the service ward terrible. We had an upstairs room..... there were no lights on, no cutlery up there, we weren't asked if we wanted any sauces.... never again! Very very disappointed. Visualizza piatti

I spent a few days working in this café when my broadband was down at home. The staff were happy to let me occupy a corner for the whole day and use their wifi. They were friendly and welcoming. I got through a variety of drinks and lunches, all of which were very good and decently priced. Portions are good. The omelette is huge! The café is often bustling; there are many regulars, and the atmosphere is laid back and friendly. Will visit again.

I have visited this cafe many times and love the food and friendly service. However, I ordered takeaway breakfasts today for the first time after a recommendation from a friend and I was so impressed. The food arrived piping hot, the cappuccinos were also piping hot and still frothy. The trays are divide into 2 compartments so that the tomatoes/beans don’t cover your breakfast which is a great idea. The toast was bagged separately which was also great. The delivery driver was super friendly and even closed my front door for me as my hands were full after he gave me the order. I can’t recommend this place enough and now I know about the takeaway service I see a regular new habit!

I am a regular customer of Fireside, have been for years. I can only comment on the breakfast, because thats all i ever order, mostly for pick but i have sat in on times as well. I am a fan of a good cooked breakfast on the weekends and i have tried places throughout the Rhymney valleys and beyond over the years but i must say Fireside are my favorite bar no one, the breakfast is just exactly what you want! They do offer variations of a breakfast but i always have a large breakfast (2 of everything) sausage, bacon, egg, hash brown, beans (can also have tomato) mushrooms and black pudding with home made toast and i am never disappointed.
