The curry here is fantastic! The staff is lovely, but it's a shame they don't accept credit cards for bigger groups.

Beautiful burgers, very dog friendly, adult menu was 11-15£ depending what you fancied but my goodness, everything was super. 9/10 would go again, they do play explicit songs though.

Was in search for a relaxing drink on a walk down the canal. Just the fact that my drink was the perfect temperature made me curious to stay. I looked at the menu which boasted fresh homemade food and I could not fault the menu...or the food. I had the Calamari and Prawn Curry. All of it was great value for money. Having been disappointed by lacking basics of customer service anywhere I have gone recently it was so relieving to have received great service. I could not fault any part of my experience today. It was a birthday celebration. The restaurant did not disappoint. The food was fantastic. We had a mixture of pizza, whopping sizes they were. Aussie Parma and Moroccan Stew. If that was not enough we had Homemade cake which was truly epic. My daughter had the last piece of carrot cake. I am sure it served two! The owners could not be more hospitable. Even when we were the last and I am sure they wanted to call it a day. They were making sure everything was ok. Lovely setting near the canal. An area of Reading I had driven passed many a time but never visited. Thank you so much for a truly memorable birthday xx

This restaurant is situated in a beautiful location alongside the river, providing seating options in the front, by the river, or in the back garden with beach huts and additional tables. They offer a variety of homemade cakes, curries, and other foods. We were impressed by the delicious carrot cake we tried, which was a large portion. The only downside is the bathrooms, where the hand dryer is placed too high on the wall, causing water to drip on the user and blowing air in their face. However, the facilities are clean and well-maintained. The staff is very friendly and the decor is great. We would definitely come back.

Shame this place had a rude waiter when we went. From taking our drinks order at the bar, he was quite rude the way he replied to simple questions about drinks options. Then I ordered a veggie wrap which was hot spicy but the menu...was not indicating it has a hot meal. Went back to the bar yo say I cannot eat spicy food and he instead of being understanding and providing solutions, as one would expect from a decent customer service, he was snappy, rude and angry at me. He said: ok so what do you want? Which really shocked me to be talked like that. Then I asked: if not spicy, I would like to get the salmon wrap instead.
